Hi Guys it looks like ETW has taken the no. 4 slot on max players online on steam with a max of 14,323 players so far today!

I wonder how many more will be before the end of the day ~:)

This is good news.

It is going to take arguably 2 weeks to get full access to the game globally for the user community. We could see CA get close to a few of the big first person shooters.

Yep. But 1211 are playing the demo. They like me still don't have the game and probably hate every one that does have the game. RTW is boring now. I want ETW! maybe tomorrow.

PS have fun

Assuming the tracking on steam counts everyone playing E:TW excpet those who go to offline mode I would expect to see E:TW crack 250K this weekend or next. The way I look at it during the opening weekend or so about 10% of the people who buy the game should be on at one time (kinda a guess but 10% of user base on at once seems conservative on opening weekend)

Anyhow 150K/.1 = 1.5 million copies
1.5 Million * $20 (assuming about 1/3 of the money for the game comes back to Sega and cost is from $50 to %70) = $30 million dollars to Sega...Not sure if thats right or not, but I know most big games are like major movies in terms of production costs and revenue...

Anyone have any facts on how many copies M2TW sold?

Anyhow my prediction is about 150K peak either this weekend or next.

It's nice to see a game like E:TW hang with more mainstream FPS.

Im guessing about 50 of those will be on the mp game and that 47 wont stick with it due to lack of a chat lobby.
