I'm trying to assign a texture to a model on 3ds Max, and I was having succes until I tried the shield.

Here is the original skin (with a few colour changes)

The changes I've made

Here is my thingy on 3ds Max (I don't know the actual name :s)

And here's how the shield appears

Does anyone know what the error might be?

Check the alpha channel on the new texture. It could be that the center section of the shield is set to be invisible.

I used the symbol from the descr banners files? Could this be the problem?

Just in photoshop go to the channels and check alpha1.Black=invissible,white=visible,grey=half visible
