I don't get it. I just purchased a hard copy of ETW: Special Forses edition from a store in New Zealand. It came with two disks and the manual told me to insert Disk 1 and follow the instructions. I did so which downloaded Stream. I activated the game through STream, which then offered me to install the game. I pressed the button and the game started to be downloaded from the internet through Stream.
Is it how the installation supposed to work?! Why did I buy a hard copy and what those two disks are for, if all the files have to be downloaded from the internet? When I insert the second CD, the PC just opens the CD directory which has some random files. The files contained on the first disk look like Stream-related files.
Now my PC is downloading the files from Steam at about 350Kb/s, It will take hours to download them all. I understand using Stream to activate a game already installed from a CD, but I do not understand what I bought CDs for in this case. Am I doing something wrong here?
