View Full Version : Age of Orgahs?

PowerWizard

This forum, especially the debates seem to be a lot more mature and relaxed than the D&D fora on TWC. I encountered little or no flaming, little or no trolling and rational arguments acknowledged by both parties.

I really wonder what's the average of Orgahs, my guess is 23-25, so here goes my poll to prove me right or wrong.

Maturity on the internet? It's more likely than you think. ~D

I think the last poll of this kind put the average age around 25-28. I could be wrong as its been a while, let's see where we end up this time.

My age = old youngster.

And why is there no <14 option?

well, as I am only hours away from turning 19, I voted for the 19-25 age group.

If your first poll option was 14-28 you would have made my day....

Sometimes it is easy to forget that some org members are minors. Lately, when a post of mine is quoted and commented with utter nonsense, I will go and check the person's age before replying...

...many times I go 'Ahhh the young and innocent' after that :wall:

I just made it into the second category, aged 19. I can't believe I'll soon be in my twenties, that sounds so weird. :sweatdrop:

Meh, this is Frontroom. too many immature people. This poll should be held in the Backroom as well. People are slightly more mature there.

EDIT: 15 myself.

Frontroom is for the lighthearted stuff, it are mostly the same people that post in the backroom. The youngsters we have here are very mature for their age imho all I could think of when I was 15 was becomming a jedi I was really a child.

My body's 46, my brain (http://flashfabrica.com/f_learning/brain/brain.html), 25, my spirit, 17 (going on 98 it seems, oftentimes).

@Gregoshi: as a halfbreed and a lover of austere snow-crowned mountains, pungent, whispering pines, glimmering highland tarns, and the tingle of waterfall mists on my face, it's gotta be Rivendell for me. Closer to the Havens for the occasional beach getaway too ~;p.

Alas, with that (the gulls!) comes the pining for Valinor - not that that is necessarily a bad thing, but I'd rather be content with living in Middle Earth.

Hanging out at the Old Orgahs Home with Banquo's Ghost and InsaneApache sounds like a good laugh all the way to the grave. Though KukriKhan and Hosakawa Tito prankin' us when we are n00bies might be a bit rough. :laugh4:

I’m about 3 days older than dirt. I have long since passed the numbers of small arms and any thing with numbers similar to mine is classed as artillery.

I am sure I can add a few years to the average…though age doesn’t necessarily bring maturity….

:idea2: Could that be the origin of the word "geezer"? "Geez, you are old!" I know they have different "g"s, but still. Deep thought to ponder...

Mind is somewhere in my 40's, and social skills somewhere around 13. (at least its an improvement)
