A few questions.

Ok so I haven't gotten the game yet, but I've been lurking on this page getting info on it. I do have a coyple questions though. What is the amount of soldiers in huge setting for unit sizes? I've seen 120 on screenshots but I want to make sure. Also how does the whole musket thing work. Do you ever run out of ammo and then HAVE to melee? Sorry if these are noobish questions but id really like to know. I'm looking forward to starting a Russian campaign.

Not sure about your first question, but as to your seconds muskets do indeed run out of ammo. I don't think I've had it happen to me yet, though.

The largest units I have seen have 200. They are worthless peasants.

On huge, I believe it is

General's bodyguard (35)
Normal cav (60)
Dragoons (80)
Many irregulars + Grenadiers (80)
Light Infantry (120?) Methinks
Line infantry (160)
Bad infantry (200)

And elephants should be around 35...

Ammo counts are in the unit stats pages. I think line infantry has ~11. 120 is high, I think the largest might be ~160?

I can only speak from the dmeo battle, but while you can run out of ammo it is far more likely you'd go into melee do to a advantage.

Such as you have poorer quality troops but more numbers, or you see a advantage in holding the line, etc.

The AI charged me fairly often if it felt my infantry was a superior shooter to there own.

I saw 180 on Line Infantry as Great Britian M/M on Ultra (E:TW's equivalent of Huge unit size).
Unfortunately, the fps is quite low on my computer with than many units of the screen firing along with my other high setings; and the AI is better for medium and under.

Ammo count is 10-15 for infantry.
