Yeah i heard in couple of posts that u can unlock minor factions any ideas?
There's a mod you can download that does it, but it's so unstable it isn't even worth using in my opinion.
Other than modding, there is no other way. I'd wait a couple of weeks for a stable mod to come out that does it.

Look in the modding forums of the website for details.

IT ISN'T UNSTABLE!!!!
OMG, LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE IN YOUR TROLLING LIFE!!!! :furious3::furious3:
Provided you don't play as an emergent faction or as a faction that is destined to merge with their mother faction (13 colonies, new spain, louisiana, etc.), then it will work perfectly.

And then when a faction emerges, watch your campaign go byebye.
You really need to relax.

Factions emerging causes no problem, except trying to play as one.
Fair enough, but he still needs to relax. I was going by what the creator of the mod actually called the mod, which was "unstable version". Having not tried it i took the creators word that it was unstable, since he is the person that actually created it.
A lot of minor factions also start without a school which i think should be edited in a final version. Also most start without the capability to recruit anything but militia or, worse, pikemen.

Yeah, I was going under the same piece of information as Dayve. I'd listen to the guy who made it over someone who played it.
Mod tools will fix everything. Presuming they work. :laugh4:
