Playing Dutch campaing VH/H I always had a nice amount of trade income, seizing the indies asap. But then my capital Amsterdam got conquered, and about 3 turns later I noticed all of my trade income had vanished. I decided to wait but it's still not here. I've checked for blockades etc, but nothing to be found.

That the situation as it is, it's really bothersome, yet I don't want to start a new campaign if this is still to be saved. But losing 5500 a turn for no apparant reason is to much to handle

Doesn't all your trade go through your capital? So, lose your capital, lose your trade...

Well, he obviously took Amsterdam back in that screenshot.

Yeah, he would need to set his trade up again though. I doubt the enemy would have just left the port alone when they were in control.

Hmm.... I never thought of that.
Still, it looks more like a bug. Until he confirms whether or not he repaired the port, I would like to point out that the trade route leading to Rotterdam is bright green

And that you can see the mouseover popup showing "United Provinces 5570".

Probably a bug related to losing and regaining your capital then. Glad as GB I'll never have to worry about that.
Did you remember to repair your port?

Yeah I repaired the port the same turn I took Amsterdam back, then I even demolished it and built it again, so I fear it's a bug. Well that's just a shame:embarassed:

The same happened to me when I lost my capital. I regained it next turn, but all of the trade routes had vanished - pretty sure it is a bug.
I managed to get around it by cancelling all my existing trade agreements and negotiating new ones with all of my partners, then the routes appeared again - not ideal but at least it allows you to continue the campaign.

Actually seems reasonable to have to set up your trade routes again after losing your city, the problem is more the fact the old trade agreements aren't cancelled automatically when you lose your capital. One question what happens when you lose your capital, do you get a temporary one or any sort of mission to retake your old one?

Thanks for the welcome :)
I do remember there was an event message to say something along the lines of my home region had been captured and my government had been automatically relocated to another region. I don't recall any mention about trade tho, and certainly the old trade agreements remained in place.
I drove out the enemy next turn and repaired everything, but even after several more turns I had no trade income at all and was on the verge of quitting the campaign, until I tried cancelling and renegotiating the agreements and only then did the trade routes reappear.

you may have to re-establish your trade treaties.
I'm having exactly the same problem, but I never lost my home province.
Also playing as the United Provinces, I used to have nearly 30K trade income per turn. Suddenly it all vanished.
I've checked all trade routes, and none is being raided. The trade screen however says the my trade route to the America's is being raided :inquisitive:
The trade route to India isn't mentioned at all on the trade screen.
I'll trying re-negotiating all trade arrangements later today, hopefully that'll solve it

I have a slightly different problem:
While i do get trade income and it is showed in the "summary"-tab, my "trade"-tab is all empty, not showing anything and even trying to tell me that there is no trade income at all (but there is)... :/
I think this started when i got provinces in india with my prussians...
Solved the problem in my campaign.
A few turns ago a French infantry unit raided Rotterdam, the port in my home region.
The French left, and the Dutch flag was over it again.
When I put my mose over it however, it said it was still controlled by the French :inquisitive:
I had to move one of my own infantry units in to recupture it.
