Did anyone catch the premiere? I think these guys are hitting there mark once again. Lately it seemed they were to socially conscious or to into poop humor. But last night was

Statistically speaking the most bacteria ridden place on the planet is the mouth of an American woman, and your gonna let that near your penis?

Yup

I saw the premier. Utterly amazing. May Micky strike fear into the hearts of the young once more.

I hope this is the start of a trend for South Park getting back to the way it was a few years ago. Season 8 was simply amazing. Then Trey and Matt gradually lost their way.

Watched it, great way to start the new season.

"Hey girls, would you like the Jonas Brothers to spray hot white foam on your faces?"

Or... something like that.

Great as always. I, for one, enjoy their take on all aspects of the world.

I especially loved how Micky in the end floated down the street like a Macy's parade balloon.

Genius!

Movin' on up!

Well we're movin' on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin' on up,
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.

Fish don't fry in the kitchen;
Beans don't burn on the grill.
Took a whole lotta tryin',
Just to get up that hill.
Now we're up in the big leagues,
Gettin' our turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby,
There ain't nothin wrong with that.

Hilarious, I couldnt stop laughing when Cartman said the statistic. Then at the ending, completely unexpected.

Perhaps I should try South Park myself. I have watched just about all the Simpsons episodes there are, and I have noticed that they all go downhill. They have always been getting more an more stupid and senseless, while omitting those obscure references that I revelled in.

As for Family Guy, that is the most senseless and idiotic show ever invented. I have not even seen a single complete episode of that. What is frightening to me, however, is that 40 years from now it will be considered a classic, and people will likely look back on it and then look back on the contemporary TV shows and shake their head in disappointment as they realise how silly their shows are to Family Guy. Yikes! But if one looks back on history, that is what is likely to happen, eh?

Just recently I realised how violent and dangerous Tom & Jerry might have seemed on its release to the more old-fashioned people of its day. Old Timers grumbled about the stupidity of Tom&Jerry, conservative "Old Timers" like me grumble about Family Guy today, and so on...

I really doubt Family Guy will be considered a genuine classic, aside from the first three seasons, which I must disagree with you on, because they were REALLY funny. But the renewed series has gone from mediocre-but-stupidly-funny to atrocious. I wouldn't be surprised if people almost count them as two different shows; kinda like Pink Floyd without Roger Waters, it will never be the same once the magic is gone.

And yeah, the Simpsons should have ended long ago, especially considering all the good writers left long ago.
