EB & Steam?

So I got Rome Total War Gold with my pre-order for ETW and this rekindled my interest for EB (I left my discs back home when I left for college and never installed them on my new laptop). So I install EB 1.1 and 1.2 onto my computer and added in the BI-EB edition, but whenever I try to run EB a popup comes up which reads:

Cannot find Steam.

Any help, guys?

Okay, do this

Right-click R:TW gold
Select properties
Set launch option to: -mod:eb -show_err

Then play.

Right, now it just says:
The game is currently unavailable, please try again later.

On a sidenote, the EB/Data/World/Maps/Base is missing the Map.rwm, this is a problem which may be causing this popup?

Oh, then restart steam. It sometimes gets cranky and won't let you play.

Then try again. Make sure that you are using the steam window to open the game!
