Hallo,
Ive been playing Eb for a long time now and tried nearly every single faction and really enjoy reading in this forum. :book:
There were a lot of things Ive never experienced in my campains like Egypt conquering carthago or rome actually expanding beyond italia, but by watching this forum I got to know that a lot players experienced this things, but there is one thing left that bothers me.
I have never seen the Parthian take over the seleucid empire. :juggle2:
Ive never seen it in my campains and also never heard about it in the forums I visit. Did anyone ever experienced anything like it?
In my current campain they did took persepolis, but I have never seen them getting to babylon or even further.
Please tell me about your experiences :book:
It think a stronger pathian empire and a weaker ptolli empire would improve the balancing of Eb a lot.

Pahalva tends to get mixed up in a fight with Saka and Baktria after they build up a bit. Pahlava does tend to be the stronger of the three, but they also have to fight the AS/Ptolies

Pahlava and Pontos are eating up the AS in my campaign.
Pahlava has been laying seige to Seleukeia for about 25 years now, but the massive golden chevroned elite stack guarding the city seems unbeatable.

That's awesome expansion. Did you put the Casse on the mainland, or did they come on their own?

I've played many campaigns and Pahlava has always been swallowed up by the AS, no matter how much money I give them. Judging from the AI faction progression thread, most people aren't having this problem, though.

I had to face a very strong Pahlava in a Getai 1.1 campaign too. We met in Tarsos/Antiochea as they had annihilated Saka, Baktria and Arche Seleukia, and were pushing Ptolemaioi southwards. My veteran elite infantry stacks took the worst beating I experienced since I play RTW, from Cataphract and HA-heavy IA armies. They broke my heart when I saw my 6xp Scordiscis melt down like snow in the bright sun of Pahlava.

Impressive!!! :egypt:
But did you help pontos or pahlva a little bit? The prollis seem to have not conquered one single province in the middle east :dizzy2:

Pahlava has the potential for epic expansion in my Romani campaign, it got as far as Seleukia+Babylon before it met resistance and got pushed back.

Was allied with Bactria and Hayasdan too.

219bc form my romanoi campaign.

The Pahlava tend to conquer persia in about half to three quarter of my games but they'll usually run into the ptolemaioi and get pushed back east.

Edit: woo! 100th post:birthday2:

I didn't help Pontos or Pahlava directly.

I did go on a raiding campaign in Egypt with two legions in 180-170BC, hurting the Ptolies real bad, because they were about the finish of the Seleucids.
