Only in the Empire Vampire State of New York, New York City that is since it is the State, would we ever imagine seeing this... Bed Bug Commissioner (http://newyorkvsbedbugs.org/2009/03/06/a-bed-bug-advisory-board-for-new-york-city/) . Just what us New Yorkers need, more political featherbedding. Just imagine the benefits of having such a title on ones resume. not to mention $300,000 per year plus car, driver, per diem,state/city credit card ad nauseum...:shame:

My dream job is being a staff member at a lesbian "straight camp". It would be so wrong...yet so right.

While I can certainly see how bed bugs can be a concern, the least I would expect is for the position to encompass more insect-related problems as well, not be quite so specific. His responsibility should expand to cover crabs as well.

Umm, are you suggesting you wish to sexually "straighten" them out? If so, you are in for a disappointment. Statistics show that lesbians are on average, very likely to be overweight and in general are less attractive than the same random sample of heterosexual women.

I never understood the young men's obsession with lesbians. Seriously, why is it that so many men seem to be so interested in them? It does not seem like a myth. I have heard some of my classmates discussing lesbians. Is there any particular reason for this interest?

Now, of course, I know you were probably only half serious with that post, or not serious at all, but still, education is beneficial

I was thinking more along the lines of: A bunch of lesbians being told by fundamentalists all day and all night that their entire life style is grotesque and they are going to burn in hell if they dont make love to men....and here I am. Is that morally wrong? Of course, but itd still be a dream come true.

Id like to see that statistic btw.

I will look for the statistic. Heck, I saw it when I was reading some old Backroom threads.

But really, why are men so interested in lesbians? How are they any different from normal women? Or is it the forbidden nature of them that excites men so much? I suppose so. Infants naturally seek forbidden things, and same with children, who prefer playing with that souvenir they are always told not to touch rather than with their toy cars, soldiers, transformers, etc. Since children display those psychological indicators more readily than an adult would, perhaps examining their minds is useful in understanding ours.

First result I got from typing in "lesbians more likely to be overweight" on Google.

Actually, I read somewhere that there is a serious bed bug infestation in NYC right now. Harder to get rid of than roaches once they settle in. I don't think it would be a cushy job, to be honest.

Here you go, read up (http://manhattan.about.com/od/citylife1/a/bedbugsbites.htm). I'd much rather be a counselor at a Go Straight camp than be the dude everybody blames for the fact that they're covered in bleeding lesions and nobody knows how to fix the problem.
