Savegame request

Does anybody have a save from just after the first battle of Chapter 1 of RtI? I get a freeze after I click the "Exit" button at the end of the the battle, on the loading screen. Gave it a good half-hour but nothing...

Sorry, deleted all "unnecessary" saves after my hard drive got a bit filled up with those huge savefiles.

Doesn't really matter. I just wanna play the RtI campaign, but I can't get past the first battle. So any save close to the beginning is just fine.

Can you please pm if you ever get this resolved? I had the same issue. I played that first battle like a dozen times. I eventually started a normal campaign. But i do feel like i missed out on a big part of ETW.

Not a lot, you build a few things then seige and take a village with a funny name, if you have played any Total War games before you won't have missed anything important. Click the objectives tab in the bottom right for what to do next, I think you need to get access rights from one of the native tribes.

One last thing. I noticed the save games you posted were missing an "e" in their names: British_Colonials_1.empir_save instead of British_Colonials_1.empire_save. I added the "e" so they showed up ingame, I'm just curious why this happened :juggle2:

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\save_games

AppData and Application Data folders are hidden.

Yes, the pirated version tends to freeze. So I have heard. Thats why you should buy the game. I actually like Steam, nowadays.
