Please! Put away those guns and locks... I know I am TS, Omni-God of SPAM, but it is not this SPAM I am talking about. I am talking about the RL spam, the annoying kind. The not funny kind.

Recently my e-mail/hotmail account found it funny to randomly dispatch an e-mail to people in my list titled: UGG, polo, nike, adidas, puma for you select? This is very annoying, does anyone know how I can fix it? The fact that my inbox is spammed increasingly with people demanding I stop spamming their inbox is frustrating, so please is there a solution?

Change your password.

I may be wrong, but I think theres an automailer with the current login of your account, so if you change your password and secret question you may be ok.

Yeh, I got the email from you, numerous times. Thanks. :laugh4:

Do as pever suggests, and all should be good and rosy.

It could also be an infection on your computer.

Hes moving around, so I hope he isnt lugging a laptop with him.

If you are, run AVG free and SUPERantispyware on them.

Yeah, that is VERY likely. In fact, I am 99% certain Vuk is right.

Why are you asking about this on .Org, TS? Googling your problem would have taken you seconds, and you would have received very useful advice.

i did google, but found nothing... I doubt though its an infection because this PC is used by atleast 5 other people on the same account and none of them has the same problem.

You know that if your email is on a spammer's address list, he can just "fake" your email address when sending spam? So it will appear to others that you are sending the spam (and if they reply, you get the email too), but if they were to actually check the full header, they'd find out that its just someone pretending to be your address.

thats a possibility too... but i recieved failed notifications when it tried to send mails to adresses that no longer exist... so I really think it is using my own e-mail... but it ceased now, so i hope it is over.
