View Full Version : deny huge cities makes game unstable?
hi, just wanted to ask if anyone knows if it makes the game unstable when I deny the ai large or huge cities
(yes I know that's kinda lame but I don't want the filthy palaces of other factions and get rid of culture difference)

By the time the AI gets to huge cities, it shouldn't affect you too much to just exterminate the damn thing.
Oh, and try the city mod.

What do you mean by "deny". I fail to comprehend. Are you saying that you exterminate cities to deny the AI the population??

He means he wants the AI to be unable to build the upper-tier palaces. In this way, he could eliminate most of the cultural penalty of a conquered city when he upgrades it with his own upper-tier palace.

yeah, its annoying that, but there is no way to deal with it, apart from exterminate, leave a large garrison, put a long term governor in place and build the +40% happy temple.
Oh, and rebuild the market and temple to your own culture.
alright thanks for your advice and opinions! I guess I might try the city mod
(but I still hate foreign palaces) ^^
