I have started a Romani campaign and am interested in the reforms. It says in the reform guide that you need to build a new MIC to get the new troops after a reform.
1. Does this mean the next level of MIC?
2. What if you have already built the highest level MIC in a town - do you have to destroy it and then start again from scratch?
3. Do you have to do this for each of the reforms or only the first one?

Well you can either build the next level MIC or the same level of the new MIC type (both give new units as much as I know, but I'm not 100% sure.)
2. What if you have already built the highest level MIC in a town - do you have to destroy it and then start again from scratch?
You can build the highest level MIC which gives the new units. However it will not be built cheaper or faster if you have the Highest MIC from the last "reform".
3. Do you have to do this for each of the reforms or only the first one?
As much as I know you need to do it with all reforms - atleast for the romans.

It isnt written in the faq :smash:
You dont have to do it for the marian reforms. You get the new building automaticly, but you cant use the old ones any longer.

You need to upgrade to the next level of MIC.
If you have a L5 Camilian MIC you can upgrade it to a L5 Polybian MIC without any trouble.
You need to upgrade MICs to go from Camilian to Polybian and Marian to Imperial. The Polybian to Marian reform will continually damage your existing Polybian MICs and place the same level of Marian MICs. At this point, tear down you old damaged MICs for the cash.
