I've had immediate CTD issues with 8.11, 8.12, 9.1, and 9.2. However with version 9.3 I just played 10 battles consecutively in my Backtrian campaign without a single hitch. I've been on windows Vista reference drivers for quite a while (8.5xx) until today.
System specs:
Phenom II @ 3.7 ghz :dizzy2:
MSI K9A2 MB
8 GB RAM @ 800mhz
ATI 4870
Vista x64
Rome settings:
EB 1.2
Rome 1.5 Vanilla install to C:\Rome
Unit size huge :2thumbsup:
All graphic options at maximum
Resolution manually set at 2560x1600
Thanks, I've added this to the validation post.

hi there, I am wondering if you had any issues with the battle radar map before you reinstalled the ATI controller? I got a similar machine and in any of the Rome games (RTW, BI, Alex) the battle radar screen is flickering... I think, I tried all graphics options available: still the same problem.

You don't have people say this frequently enough, but you are a freaking saint, man. Seriously. :2thumbsup:
