I was just wondering,who made the music on EB?
Really love the eastern music,because of that i stick to my pontus campaign

Especially the city of order,and the semitic theme(i changed it with spring in armenia)
Truly fascinating

I forgot how to change to the next musicfile when your on the stratmap,wich button do i have to bash to change it?

The eastern music is TPC's work iirc. At least some of the tracks have his name in the title. He did an awesome job on it.:2thumbsup:

As far as the Eastern soundtrack (and some nomadic tracks too) is concerned, that would be me, good sir :bow:

As far as toggling music is concerned, I use ctrl+M (I haven't played this for ages) which turns off the music; repeating the command usually results in another track... So, you might want to try that.

I agree. I like to listen to the EB music (especially the eastern tracks) even when not playing the game.:music:
Vanilla RTW already had great music, but EB's is even better.:2thumbsup:

Well then I must say thank you allot sir and please accept my graditude (have a baloon: :balloon2:) - the Eastern and Nomadic tracks are my favourites from EB if not all music connected to R:TW.:2thumbsup: That alone is enough reason for me to play either an eastern or nomadic faction. :yes:

I think the eastern soundtrack has a variety of different music from different people. I personaly know that the one playing on the campaign map is Armenian (with the duduk instrument), then if I remember correctly TPC told me there are some Indian, and Iranian tracks in their (especialy during the battles)

On a side note when EBII comes along There are two traditional Armenian battle dances, called Bert or Pert which means Fortress, and the second on is called Kochari I think that would go very well during the battles.

Of course. Within three cultural "pools", Eastern_Greek, Eastern, and Nomad, you'll find those which say "_TPC_" in the middle of the filename.

Though I don't condone the usage of drugs, I have to say that I wouldn't mind having a bottle of Jägermeister close at hand :barrel:

It's all really simple. How does a guy with nearly no musical background pull stuff like this off? Well, he scratches forth some money to buy a software sequencer (Like FL Studio) and some sample packs, which really has most of the stuff nearly done for you. Like sampled instruments, soundfonts and even basic short melodies and turns.

I kid you not. Anyone can do it. With maybe two months of practice in front of a computer just dabbling with sounds randomly, you'll get better at it. I've said the same to my team-mates, and I'll say it here. Anyone can do it. I don't play any instruments... Well, besides piano... Poorly. I don't really even record anything.

Now of course, the case is slightly different with some of the EB-video music where I tried to imitate Hans Zimmer. Amateurishly. It is much more time-consuming because there you basically have to make the instruments from scratch with a plug-in or something.

...And City of Order is just a mishmash of randomness, some melodies, dissonance, noise, people in the background, and really... Just a cacophony. But glad you liked it :2thumbsup:

truly spectacular score in this game, i especially like the celtic factions music.
i was just wondering if anyone knew the name of the instrument in the celtic music that sounds like a didgeridoo? is it actually a didgeridoo or a celtic instrument? it is after all fairly basic design so it wouldn't be strange to see very similar, if not identical instruments in other cultures.
