OH MY GOD!!!
I've inadvertently damaged my game CD beyond repair!!! :wall:
The cable for the screen dropped and hit the CD (on my table) giving it quite a nasty gash on the metal side. After doing the light test and play test, I've come to the conclusion that I'm well and truly buggered! Does anyone know if the game can be played without the CD or does it load most of the essentials from the CD?

If anyone can help me with this, I'm sure they'll have the satisfaction in knowing that they helped me in my Getai conquest of the known world! (Save posted here under the topic about governing my cities.)

You can buy RTW for a fiver round my parts...I'd hardly gawk about having to rebuy it.

New RTW Gold CD is 3-4 times cheaper than it was when I bought it!! I should have bought it now and I would've saved a lot of money!
Btw, this is my ETW buying policy. Wait 1-2 years and then buy it whit what ever expansion they have!

I also think it would be better to buy it, both to support CA and because if you don´t do it then later you may find that it is no longer available:no: This happens with old games, so if you really love RTW just buy again that pack with RTW+BI+ALX and enjoy it! It is really a good game...specially because it allows you to play EB:yes:

If you don't have MIITW for EBII, you can just go grab the latest TW:Eras that includes all the other ones.

What's the TW Eras and the pack with RomeBIAlex, are they compatible with EB, and is either better than the other or than just buying Rome alone ?

I think the latest one is Shogun -> MedII:Kingdoms. And yes its compatable.
