Hi
I'm playing as Julii and I've found out why i shouldn't have gone all west taking the Gauls and Spanish also making an alliance with Germania for some reason. The Brutii are huge and are taking 2 or 3 cities at a time now.

Any thoughts on what I should do?

My plan is to eventually attack them. They have bunches of cities with weak garrisons that have stronger garrisoned cities in the nearby area so what I'm thinking is take all their weaker towns with 1/4 or 2/5 stacks ( :dizzy2: ) then take 3/4 stacks and back them up with a couple remnants from the attacks on their weaker cities then use the stacks to attack their larger cities. Consolidate my forces for a short bit then take more of their cities. Bunk in and quickly prepare a second wave to finish them off.
Thanks, adal8or.

If you're blitzing them, a good idea is to prepare a couple of stacks of garrison troops (town watch, peasant, etc.) so that your heavy troops can take a city and move on to another right away. It worked spectacularly for me as the Scipii evicting the Brutii in Greece. By the end of the turn I had taken most of Greece with minimal resistance (Sparta -> Corinth -> Athens -> Larissa).

Well the senate likes me alot all of a sudden now and the Brutii rep with the senate is slowly falling.. the senate know how we feel :P.
I want to finish the Iberian peninsula by taking Corduba from Carthage then take Britain while I can.
From there I'll fortify border positions, make a plan of where my current cities need garrisons and where they don't, build armies specified for taking certain cities and generally make an invasion plan. Also I'll build up a couple of fleets to intercept Brutii fleets and blockade their ports.

I'd like to take their positions in Italy and then hit Greece, Macedon and Germania. Ports and areas with good economies will be priority and I'll also get Scipii to help and maybe drag the other remaining factions into this.
YAY
Thanks, adal8or.

Yes, start immediately, minimalise garrisons and bring all your availiable troops to your fronties, a couple of stacks should keep out the Germans while all your other troops should be well placed to attack the Brutii when the Civil War breaks ot. Bear in mind that this will take a while.

Well Germania is doing quite well at the moment, they have re-taken several provinces and I'd like to ally with them when civil war comes. I'm building armies to take Britannia now after taking Corduba (Sorry but I think I just pwnt their full stack, 1200 and odd kills from my side and about 116 kills from theirs, I mainly used about a quarter of my army too O_O) and I have been at about almost 14k income per turn, getting hard to keep it below 50k :P. They have left their settlements in Italy and Greece quite weak, should be easy pickings so long as I can make sure they don't suddenly manage to build several full stacks once my first offensive wave is mostly depleted.
Anyone think pulling in the Scipii and getting the Senate to support us would work?
Thanks, adal8or.

The Seante won't do nothing but to defend Rome. They won't ally anyone, AFAIK they break their alliances with every faction.
