I'm going to South-East Asia. (doubles as a gaming thread)

Leaving in about 8 hours, visiting the following places: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; West Sumatra, Indonesia; Jakarta, Indonesia. I'll be gone for just over 3 weeks, only passing through K.L. for a few hours, flying into Indonesia. Then on the way back to Perth I'll be stayin' a few nights in K.L.

As for the gaming bit: I'd like to purchase a PS3 and perhaps several games during my travels and, knowing how awesomely knowledgeable my fellow Orgahs are, where would be the best place to pick 'em up? I was thinking K.L. but maybe I'm confusing it with the technological capital of SE Asia (that is, Singapore). Side note: I might be visiting Bandung in Indonesia too.

Hey, it's me... But I bet, if you see me, you don't know...:laugh4: I'm in bandung....

There was a lot of pirated games here, but i suggest you to not buy them... (only 1 out of 3 dvd's are working...) and even if it works, the crack sometimes are unfinished.... causing enermous crashes... and when you play in the internet, the games was sometimes rigged with spyware... causing your firefox to show local porn sites and call girls... which lead you to use your credit card numbers... (or read them!!!)

KL is great. I used to live there. Great food, great place..

Though I wouldn't bother with pirated stuff. Along with what Cute Wolf said, if your planning to buy a PS3 the risk of breaking is pretty high. And you can't get the insurance..

If your planning to buy legit stuff, Singapore sounds like a good choice

I have some pics of Malaysia in one of my albums, you can check it out if you 've never been there before. It is not from KL but from Mellaca which is definately worth visiting too.

Make sure you build a healthy appetite because food in Malaysia is great and very cheap.
