GAME VERSION: 1.2
CURRENT AVAILABLE FIXES FOR 1.2: Applied

ISSUE: The game crashes to desktop after ending my turn; the crash occurs when it is the "rebels" turn of action.

PLAYING AS: Romans
IN-GAME YEAR OF CRASH: 244 BC Winter-season

SAVEGAME: --

---

SIDENOTE: There is also a other bug, having controlled a city south of modern Tunis (the name escapes me right now), the region around it shows as belonged to the "rebels" both on the strategic map and the mini-map, while an area next to it that I didn't own (I own it now though), showed as if it were controlled by me. This is something that didn't bother me much, the game still worked for many years after.

I would appriciate assistance in this. 'Tis real bummer for me that this had to occur now when I had just beat a Carthaginian army on Sicily with 1200 vs 1400, and I had lost only 7; my best battle performance yet.

only bit of advice I can offer is to try ending the turn with the script off.

Did the toggle_fow and found a Pontos settlement revolting.

Attempted to reduce its population by 6000, and that seemed to not have worked.

Edited the script so that I could take control of the faction, did that, resolved the riot and ended turn. Crash again. Problem persists...

*sigh* Just did a full re-install from scratch. Applied the patches in order all the way to the latest mod fixes. Loaded the game and ended my turn; crash again.

(I've also tried without turning the "show me how" on.)

This is a typical sign of one of these:
* You have installed EB 1.2 and are using an EB 1.1 savegame. EB versions are not savegame compatible.
* You installed a submod and continued a game not started using that submod. Certain submods are savegame compatible, but this one appears to not be so.
* Your savegame is corrupted.

In all these cases, I can't help you.

If however you are desperate to recover your (fairly short) campaign, I suggest you revert to an older savegame.

Thank you bovi.

I think I'll start a new game from scratch.
