Game Balance

I think the game pacing is not balanced properly. Historically, I've always been challenged playing hard / hard, but this was too easy. It's 1779 right now, and I won the game ten years ago. I now have 71 territories, three protectorates, and 5778 prestige. I have nearly 1M pounds, with nothing to spend it on.

I ideally, I'd like to just finish the game, but I want to unlock any content on the backend.

On that note, does anyone know how to force it to end. I'd like to see whatever cutscene they have.

Get to 1800, that should end it. Winter of 1800, then end turn.

edit: I don't know where the impression came from, but you don't gain anything by finishing the game. This isn't Rome: Total War.

I wonder if the nations in 1779 were wondering if they could beat "the game." They must have been severely dissapointed to find no cutscene in 1800, but only a new French despot.
