View Full Version : Bug - Problem with guilds
First to say hi ~:)
I have a problem, with my installation of MTW2. Game gives me a guild offer, I accept, but nothing is being build. And it goes like that.
Tried it in vanilla and Darth mod campaign.
Any help appreciated.

Do you have the money (1000 fl)?
I think that I did, but I am not sure. So, that could be the problem... ok, noted.

Towns conquered may already have guilds in, but they will ask to improve them to master guils etc which cost more.
has anyone else noticed that the ai always seems to select the spies/assassin guilds?

Yes, since spies are very useful, the AI tends to breed a lot of them, and as a result that tends to be the first guild the AI is offered. It doesn't seem to take into account it already has those guilds, and always says yes to the offer.
Every successfull assasination / spying action will give you/the AI 5 pts towards a guild for every city you own/ the AI owns. Hence those two are the easiest to obtain. I have had a fetish for assassins the past year, I don't remember how I played without them before... As a result, I get spammed with assassin guild offers. And of course spy guilds as well - what is an assassin without a spy?
