Rome total war/Barbar. Invasion Gold Edition

Ave people, I have Rome total war/Barbar. Invasion Gold Edition and want to instal the Europa Barbarorum, can someone guide me on what to do as I am not that technical. Which patches and stuff should I install?

Oki so I go for mod EB1.1.exe only? or do I need 1.0 first, after 1.1 and last 1.2?

First 1.1, then 1.2 into THE SAME directory, so that you have both in
Games/RTW/
"side-by-side" in the same window after installing (a common mistake is that people install 1.2 into the 1.1 folder).
Of course, "Games/RTW/" is only the path I chose for the basic Rome Total War install - substitute whatever you
entered as install directory.
When you are done with this, install all the current "fixes for EB1.2", here:

You do not have to do this in order to play - but it fixes some bugs that might annoy you otherwise.
Make backup copies of the to-be-fixed folders and write down their path before applying the fixes (which will overwrite
the "fixed" files and add some new files).
