Swedish Troops on some Ships (Screenshot)

My first run since the patch, going with Great Britain since the naval transport issue was stated as fixed. I decided to turn on show CPU Moves for the first patch, and saw what is in the attached screen... I'm going to send a couple of ships to shadow it and see what happens!

I had sent the Dunkirk, a sloop captained by Nathanael Charnock, to shadow the swedish fleet.. he reported back that they are headed WNW. But that takes them... My stomach got tight. Still is, actually. I'm not at war with them... are they invading me? Or going cross theater?

Well that is certainly an improvement.
Keep following them and see where they go.

Does Denmark still hold Iceland? If so, then that's probably where they're heading.

Damn... what are they up to? For four years now, they have sat off the coast of Portugal. The Dunkirk will remain shadowing...

EDIT: Yeah, Denmark still owns Iceland... for now...

They didn't fix the naval transport bug in patch 3. They only said they were aware of it and were still workig on it.

Actually it is fixed and there is already screenshots on TWC of the AI actually landing their troops.

from my understanding they fixed the game so naval invasions would occur but turned it right down, because they didnt want to tamper with the frequency of such events yet. its good to see that it happens now hopefully england might try and leave england etc

Additionally, as with the recent note on naval invasions. The basic fix is in, meaning the AI can now choose this tactic and may do so. However, it will likely be rare until we've played with all the associated values (There are a lot). We started work on the next upgrade patch in parallel a few weeks ago and I can say for certain this area will continue to improve, so please stay with us.

So yeah, it's there but not finished yet, they are still working on it! :2thumbsup:

Yup GB picked up a half stack from Philadelphia and landed it in Moose factory.
