View Full Version : Your Favourite Smiley?
There are so many to choose from, and I don't mean strictly smileys but any icons to, including the pink elephant, that the guild hosts.
My top 5

First Place
The Most Honorable
Can be used in so many occasion. Best friend for none native speakers who can't make the post polite as he/she want it to be.
Second Place
The encouraging :2thumbsup:
Again, it can be used in many situations. Its one of the smiles I use very often and appreciate.
Third Place
The hilariously annoying:jumping:
Used to liten up the atmosphere and its presense is not as massive compared to the Pink Elephant which many use on the similer situations.
Forth Place
The dummy :smash:
Used to point something very crucial which may even offend the poster. However adding the hammer makes it less agressive, always gives me the smile.
Fifth Place
The lovely :sweatdrop:
My best friend in mafia game
Honorable mentions 5-10

~ - whatever
:medievalcheers: - drink and be merry
 /  - standard (dis)agreement on topic
 - respect

I love using smilies in an ironic fashion. Pretty much anyone will do:
No, Adrian, Madrid is. :whip:
No it isn't, Louis.
I just looked it up and Madrid is the capital of Italy. :book:
No it isn't, Louis.
Yes it is, sheesh.

Tribesman would only use it in groups of 3 or more though.

I've been trying to find uses for most of the obscure, forgotten smilies, but it is a challenge. My top 5 is:
~ (not so much anymore, but it was THE MAN when I was mod of the EH)
~:pat:
:inquisitive: (this most often is my tipoff for a really obscure pun)
