After the March 30 patch, E:TW was working just fine. Without bugs or CTD's as a matter of fact. I also had the All Factions Unlocked mod, so I made patches non-automatic. Well, it must have re-set itself, because it downloaded the fricking patch 1.2.
Now, after Patch 1.2, not only do I have to disband more than half of my army to regain my profit by 5000 that was taken from me, but now I get random CTD's out of nowhere.
Does anyone know where to download the March 30 patch? I need to get it back so I can stop these :furious3:ing CTD's!!!!!!!

Can't. Steam updates, there are no individual patches.

another example of why total war should NEVER release using steam for everything ever again. it just wrecks everything. in fact, i would have preffered to take even an hour to locate and download a patch from the internet and then manually install it rather than having to download it from steam. at least that way i can re-install or delete data as needed.

Thats your viewpoint.
I like the fact that we have stable multiplayer servers, that patching in the correct order is no longer an issue. CA can now release hotfixes fast.
M2:TW Can you update from 1.1 to 1.2? No, you had to uninstall, then patch from 1.0 to 1.2.
When you finally find out about a new patch (which if you didnt actively search for, you wouldnt know about) you'd have trouble figuring out which version is yours. (oh so my american download version requires a different patch which isnt out, but since i bought it from england, i need the european one. No patch options for australia/asia so which patch do they use?)
This makes patching so much easier, and makes sure everyone is on the same plate.

but they could easily use the exact same system without using steam.

what? its not that hard. you go to a store. you buy the game. wow.
and the version number is displayed in the bottom right corner of the main menu(as has always been with TW games)

Start a new campaign. Also, you may want to disable the mod, as it is the mod that is most likely destabilizing your system.

Assuming you're playing from an old campaign...
Start a new campaign.
Its not really savegame compatible...
