I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread in which we can share music that touches us in some way through Youtube.

Yeah, but this is the Frontroom, so we gotta follow the Frontroom rules. If it is mildly political, I think that is ok, but that was very strong. I read your warning, but I did not anticipate that it would be that strong. Post that in the Backroom and I will glaldly give you my opinion on it. ~;) I just don't think videos in the Frontroom should get peoples blood up.

I recently came across this one on Youtube and can't get it out of my head for some reason:

Some background story from my side to it (for what it's worth):
Many years (~17 years) ago I heard the Chinese version of this Malay/Indonesian traditional in the movie "Year of the Dragon" and at that time somehow was moved by it - completely forgot about it until I heard it again somewhere in the streets of Shanghai a couple of weeks ago.

When looking for it on Youtiube I also came across the version I linked to.

As far as country goes, there is one singer who can consistently bring tears to this big old Vuk's eyes. Her name is Trisha Yearwood. The best and most emotional song she sings IMHO is Georgia Rain, but unfortunately, Youtube has taken down all but the live versions, and they are not nearly as good. Anyway, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0Ck9Uh8P50) is the live version.

Coming in second is this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW6y9uiKqPs), but it is live as well and not complete. Still gives me wolf bumps. :P

I make sure I never miss the comedy festival. Only problem is that this years festival meant a week without Good news week.
