View Full Version : Land Trade Blocked

Does anyone have any idea how to figure out where your land trade routes are blocked? I own most of north america and my only two enemies in the theater do not seem to have any armies sitting on a trade route, but the entire american theatre still shows a land blockade in the trade window.

I have seen that too. But it may be at sea. I was at war with Denmark and they only had Iceland left to them. I also had their fleets blockaded but until I took Iceland it blocked all American trade.

Well, according to the icon on the trade screen it is land trade.

I am going to eliminate the two one province NA Tribal enemies just in case. I was just hoping there was a way to tell where the blockade was. Too bad we don't even get a message like with sea trade when it is first blocked. I will check out possible sea trade routes as well. Denmark doesn't like me so maybe I should look at Iceland after all.

As sweden the icon shows me having land trade with maratha, but that would be silly and there's an uninterrupted line of enemy regions between us so I think the icon that shows land/sea is bugged.

Also when I had the problem with Iceland I didn’t get a chip/icon telling me where the trouble was…but how can a land rout block your home trade from a continent anyway?

You are right, a land route blockade shouldn't shut down a theater's trade. Denmark does have a fleet sitting a trade route near Iceland after all. I guess it is either a bug or a feature limitation that would show my American trade as being landbased. at any rate I know where the blockade is. thanks

Well Maratha is connected by land to Sweden :P. Just a long distance.
