It was my instinct too, cos of his persistent "I know nothing about WH40k", yet still managed to dig up info on terminators? If he was just an ordinary marine, he would not go out of his way to find that extra piece of info.

I have a passive trait adding +5 to each of the 2 combat ratings...meaning i contribute
+10 melee and + 10 ranged for the ambush threshold. - this i have confirmed with taka. prior to knowing about the -ve ratings i suspected CB, dug up the info on wiki, called him a liar (hastily :shame:) and voted for him...
taka also confirmed to me that there are negative ratings for the killers and the maximum rating anyone can have is 5. (My rating is 5 but for threshold i contribute 10)

Hmm... a quick experimentation with CSV files produces an identical format as the PM Atheotes posted. For now I guess he is innocent.

Day 4
Force Commander Gabriel Atheotes stood with his daemon hammer in one hand and a bolt pistol in the other. He knew that today, the enemy would be able to finish off the team. They had to execute the correct person, or else the safety of the Imperium would take a blow if the relic landed in the wrong hands. Carefully he counted up the tally.
White Eyes 4: Atheotes, White Eyes, Capt BA, Beefy
Again, he counted the tally. Brother White Eyes voting for himself?
Turning to address the marine, the Force Commander gave White Eyes an :inquisitive:
"Brother White Eyes, why have you voted for yourself?"
"That's my role.......but I guess it makes sense now."
With another :inquisitive: at the marine, the Force Commander paced across towards White Eyes, gripping his Daemon hammer.
"You make no sense. Now you need to die, just in case."
Atheotes swung the hammer over the marine's head.
... And White Eyes stopped the hammer directly in its place just above his head with his glowing purple hands.
"Its gonna take more than that to take me down, you loyalist scums."
A Psychic blast from the Chaos Sorcerer's hand blew away the daemon hammer and the threw back the Force Commander several feet.
Immediately reacting to the situation, Brother Beefy swung his glimmering polished heavy bolter towards the Chaos Taint and released a burst of bolter rounds which exploded at the sorcerer and the surroundings.
"Engaging the enemy!"
Smoke and dust clung to the air, but Brother Beefy stood poised, ready to fire if anything was to move.
Cautiously, Brother Capt BA approached the smoke with Thunder Hammer and Storm Bolter ready.
A wisp of wind forced the smoke and dust away and pointing his Bedlam Staff at the approaching Terminator, Sorcerer White Eyes released a blast of red psychic power, scorching and slightly melting Capt BA's armour. Devastator Beefy fired relentlessly at the Chaos Sorcerer, only to receive a salvo of psychic bolts in his direction.
Force Commander Atheotes got to his feet and grabbed his fallen daemon hammer; rushing towards the Sorcerer once again.
"Faith and duty! For the Emperor!"
The Force Commander Raised the Daemon Hammer over his head, ready to land a blow on the Sorcerer. White Eyes was already chanting with warp powers illuminating in his hand ready to repel the attack.
Looking to the Mon Keigh Camp, he looked through his scope and with a pull of the trigger.
"They can't even handle a single sorcerer. Fools"A single gravitic accelerated shell pierced through the power armour of the victim.
A Thunderous crack sounded through the whole camp. The Force Commander stood over the smoking Chaos Sorcerer. Aetheotes had managed to land the blow on White Eyes, who also received several bolt shells from the Terminator.
The Sorcerer laid there beneath Atheotes and whispered his final words
"None can stand... against the coming darkness"

Well done town. I can't believe town won to be honest, because all the power roles were pretty much killed off in the first few rounds. Last round discussion deffinately helped with the final decision.
If the power roles had not been rid of so early (especially factionheir) i think this probably would have lasted another few rounds lol.
I hope that you guys enjoyed the game, it was my first mafia game hosted and i didnt really know what to expect, especially with the ambush thing and the theme. Hopefully i'll host something similar again but with a different theme so that everyone can enjoy playing it :bow:

This game caused me to spiral heavily into a Warhammer 40k inducted coma, I've been reading up on it the past few days and checking everyone's claims and stats haha.
and I'm not even in the game! :clown:
Reading this was quite enjoyable, Mafia is indeed a good spectator sport at times.

You have been ordered to infiltrate into the squad protecting the Relic and kill everyone to release the Chaos prized relic.
You are also a powerful psyker. You can communicate telepathically with your brothers in the Alpha Legion to ambush the squad. Your presence lowers the defence threshold.
There is also one player that is corruptible. If you by chance select the corruptible player for a night kill, you will convert him instead.

also just to let you know, if white eyes had targeted beefy for the night kill, beefy would have been converted instead, meaning a third mafia. Iskander was kinda like a 3rd party mafia/SK

i'm thinking of hosting another battle royale styled game in the near future similar to tainted evil, probably set on a different theme or the same if enough people are interested in keeping the same theme. please let me know if you guys are interested :beam:
Taka, battle royale with WH40k sounds good, maybe with factions fighting eachother instead of individuals so that everybody is involved (hopefully)...
