I'm letting this be a multiple choice poll because there's a few to choose from, and Motorhead has had several comeback eras.

I figured I would post this because Motorhead is arguably the second-most influential Metal band ever, next to Black Sabbath. Personally, though I actually prefer their earlier, Hard Rock era, specifically Overkill and Bomber, to the post-Ace of Spades albums. I feel like they fell into the same trap as AC/DC, trying to do their best album over and over again; granted, they've done a better job of it, but they still lose the variation that marked their early albums. Besides which, Overkill is one of the best Biker Rock albums ever.

Edit: damnit, I screwed up the poll... ah, well, I'm not gonna redo a poll that big.

Ace of Spades, although I also really like Bomber and Bastards. No Sleep 'Til Hammersmith gets a heads up for including the coolest place in the world in it's name :2thumbsup:

Werd, that one got my vote as well. "No sleep til Hammersmith (1981)" is probably one of the finest live albums EVER. The version of Iron Horse on that album is the best there is; I am very partial to Capricorn as well. The other live album "Nö Sleep at All (1988)" despite the apt title just wasn't as good.

I must say though that the "Ace of Spades (1980)" album has one of the best band photos in Rock history!

There's more room for debate here than with Sabbath IMHO, but I had to go Ace of Spades.

Overkill? Nice. I'm curious to hear who you think is the second-most influential Metal band, though.
