i was going to make one for metallica, but i know how much everyone hates metallica, so i will refrain from that. instead, i will do one for my next favorite band, Iron Maiden-
my choice was very difficult.
shockingly, my choice is between The Number of the Beast and A Matter of Life and Death.
in the end, i went with The Number of the Beast. but A Matter of Life and Death is a very close second. maybe later when im less tired ill explain.
...Okay first a joke
Q: "what's got a big red nose and big feet and lives at the bottom of a test tube?"
A: "Bozo the Clone"
Well, I predict that "Number of the Beast" will win in a landslide, but I'd be happy if I was wrong. Great album though, my favorite song is "Run for the Hills"
That's one thing that I really appreciate about Maiden is the content and subject of their songs. Really original stuff + run for the hills is a great example of that.

Killers or Powerslave...choices, choices...
I voted Powerslave. Number of the Beast has imo the three best Maiden tracks (Number of the Beast, Hallowed be thy Name and Run to the Hills) But as an album Powerslave is just all-round consistantly amazing.
- Also, Metallica's best album is Ride the Lightning, with ...And Justice a close second.

Where is the "I like polls" option? :whip:
Let him who hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is a human number. His number.. is six hundred and sixty six.
:2thumbsup:
Maiden is one of my all time favorite bands, straight up. Picking one of their albums is, as stated before, a tough call but I have to go with Number of the Beast. Hollowed be thy Name is probably my favorite song Maiden's done.

I don't hate Metallica, I just personally believe they play speed much better than they do melodic. I actually have most of their albums up to Load.
Tossup between Number of the Beast, Powerslave, and Piece of Mind. A great series of albums for the band.

Powerslave is probably more consitent then Number of the Beast, but I like the more progressive feel. Not to mention the fact that Number of the Beast has hallowed be thy name, which is one of the best metal songs ever written.
