How can one play EB multiplayer, i've always been confused and annoyed by the gamespy insistence on paying on all the TW games, does anyone use this or is there some other way of playing multiplayer?

First of all, welcome to the fora. If you search a bit, you'll come across a thread named "EB Multiplayer". There is another way of playing on-line, which is with Hamachi. I, for one, use it, and it does its job well. We also have a significant community in Hamachi, so I suggest you go and download it (it's free!) and join us for some action :evilgrin:

And I suggest that inactive people get off the darn Hamachi networks, they are clogging the networks! If you're not using the network, get OFF it!

Well, join one of existing networks on Hamachi (you have a list of active networks somewhere on the forum) and then start your EB Multiplayer. Then go to LAN battles and see if someone is in the lobby.

I suggest: EBOT_1, EBOT_2, EBOT_3 and EBOT_4 (password for all of them: EB): if someone is online, he is most likely to be on some of these networks.

Alternatively you can join:

Greek EB (pass: EB)
Croatia EB (pass: EB)

...or...

you can create your own network and post it's name and password right here :yes:

Sorry, but i've reached my allowed internet traffic for this month, i'm afraid. My internet provider really sucks (i have 512MB per month only, i can't afford bigger traffic for now :no:) So i'm afraid there is no Hamachi for me untill 16.08. :sweatdrop:

Btw i don't use elephants in MP, so you can send your skirmishers home to rest :clown::beam:

Yeah, i'm going to change my provider: i have contract which expires somewhere in 9th month. And then it's time for some flat rate :yes:
I hate my internet company: i pay around 100 kunas to them for that 512MB per month, while some other companies have flat for the same money :whip::furious3::dizzy2:
