I bought Killing Floor and had a chance to play it, so I thought I would be helpful and write up a nice little review for ya'll.
First of all, I like it...a lot. :P
What it is is a game where you are given these scenarios (6 I think) where you and your team are dropped in and you have to battle against massive waves of zombies. You start with just a pistol, a healing tool, grenades, a welder (more on that later), and a knife. After you fight the first wave off, there is a trader you need to get to where you can buy weapons (though you don't get a heck of a lot of money). The weapons are fairly straight forward: Shotguns, Rifles, Pistols, Flamethrowers, and SMGs (and one LAW :beam:). There is a thing called perks that give you bonuses in certain areas. (healing, rifles, flamethrowers, etc) You can level your perks up to make them more effective, and you can switch perks.
There is both MP and solo, though solo is relatively hard, as instead of having a whole team to back you up, there is only you. :P Generally, you do not last that long by yourself.
The gameplay is really fun and teamwork is essential. There are no crosshairs, but there is a degree of aiming help (that is a con BTW, not a pro). If you want to aim you have to bring iron sights up, though it is really impossible to use them if you are running. You can jump, run, etc. You can also use a welder to weld doors shut to fortify a position (though it can quickly turn into a trap instead of a fort if they break through one door!). This and the fact that you heal others for twice the minuscule amount of health you can heal yourself really help promote teamwork. Zombies come from all sides, so if you are by yourself, you will quickly find yourself overwhelmed. The gameplay is made hard so that you cannot just fortify a place and sit there by the trader moving to different locations every wave, so you often end up fighting on the move so that you will be able to stock up for the next fight.
There are a variety of bad guys which makes the gameplay a lot of fun, and there are achievements which make replay more appealing. Overall, I think it is a really fun game, though not necessarily brainy. :P :2thumbsup: Graphics are good (but very scalable, so no worries if you have minimum specs) and it runs even on very slow connections.
My only complaints are that there is no way to turn aiming help off, and on the hardest difficulty I think it is IMPOSSIBLE to kill that drrned boss!! :P

Thanks for the review, Vuk. I'm actually quite interested in KF. I heard a lot of good things from it, and that some people PREFER it over L4D. Sounds awesome. That and it's made by TWI. (makers of Red Orchestra)

I got this game today, it is good. Unfortunately, don't know many others who got it, for team games with people I know and are on the good side.
