So I went into Best Buy about a month ago and bought a brand new laptop, a real beauty. (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9173262&type=product&id=1218044029168)

So I get it home, open the box and immediately load up ETW, which it plays at highest settings with flying colors. Man I really loved this laptop! That's right, Loved. About a week ago, my kid brother had about 4 of his friends over. Unbenounced to me, they played the thing without me knowing. Oh well, no problem right? Wrong. A few days later I go to fire it up and notice a few scratches that weren't there. I'd better be more careful with this thing, I think to myself. I notice the screen's bent out of shape. It was about then that I began to get that feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach. I booted it up, and to my dismay the display is white with the telltale signs of cracked LCD. I phone up my brother and after much prying get the low-down: one of his friends dropped it in the basement, which he conviniently forgot to tell me. Well, needless to say I felt a bit :furious3::furious3::furious3::furious3::furious3::furious3::furious3::furious3::furious3::whip::whi p::whip::whip.
So now I'm left without my laptop :wall:. Any idea how to repair this screen and/or how much it will cost??

They're going to have to replace the screen and part (all?) of the case. It's going to cost you. As much as the original purchase? Maybe not, since it's a new model. They'll still have parts. But it will cost you, yes indeedy.

Abduct. Remove kidneys. Sell.

Whoever broke it should pay for the repair, that's how it works here, if you break something, you pay for the repairs.
Also make sure you don't let our brother and his friends play around with it anymore.

Otherwise, good luck.
