wow long time no post, anyhow, I'm interested in how Chalkis and Korinthos came into Macedonian possesion by 272bc, was the garrison at Korinth related to the Battle of Chaeronea? Probably not but I'm just curious

So yeah just wondered if someone could point me in the right direction :book:

Well after Chaeronea, almost all of the greek polis came under some sort of macedonian control, (except sparta). Corinth became some sort of Macedonian capital in the peloponesos. I don't know about chalkis.

Yeah I'd heard about Corinthian League, I'm re-reading Valerio Manfredi's Alexander series and got interested again. I wasn't sure if the league had lasted long after Alexander's death
