This is my first poll. I hope I do it right.

My good computer went down about a month ago and I was layed off 2 weeks ago. So I have more free time than ever and can't play EB :furious3:. I was playing it quite a bit before my laptop went down. I am curious how often others here play on average per week.

Obviously the answer fluctuates because of school, family, work, life, etc. I am asking about a normal week, & by normal I mean a week without finals, midterms, funerals, weddings, holidays, vacations, etc.

On a normal week I enjoy less then five hours of EB :bigcry:

I have so much going on it's not funny. Friends, school, work, wieghts, women, (and of course parties :laugh3:). By the time I get home I either pass out on the couch or get ready to go again.

But I cherish those seldom moments (like now) that I am home, my family is sleeping, and all the lights are off when I can truly let out my inner nerd and roleplay some EB :smug:

Oh, and don't ask why i'm not playing EB right now because I am on the .Org...

less than 5.

other things need to be done.

EDIT: like finding the arabic words: "allun" (an all iron spear-akin to pila or solifera?) "mitallun" (cow horn spear tip) and "7arbatun" (a spear that is not a spear-javelin perhaps?).

well, what do expect? the dictionary I'm using (lisaanu ul-3arab) was written in c.1236 AD

Im probably one of the few lucky ones who get to enjoy EB as much as they want. Id say im pushing 8-10 hours of EB. Not the last few weeks, because of being busy, but I can usually put 2 hours in a given weekday. :beam:

About 10 or 12 hours would be an average week, rarely do I play less than 10 hours, but I haven't had a chance to play any for about a week or so.

Depends. When one campaign totally "takes me", as it happen with Pahlava few months ago, i go truly addicted. Now i'm playing (my favorite faction) Kart-Hadast about 10 hours per week. Also i have some exams so i have to study anyway...

I was thinking about starting my new Pahlava campaign... man... i dont dare to to that... or i will never finish my university... :furious3:

Between 10 and 20 mostly.

Around 1hour before work or gym and usually 2 to 3hrs after, but on certain days I only get 30mins in all.

Currently doing a historical campaign with the Romani and I am in the year 214BC and have to fight against the GETAI,CHARTA,AUDEI,GREEKS,EPIROS... TOO MANY

0 at the moment, because of exams. All my free time is eaten by girlfriend, friends and parties.

During the normal period (that is non-exam) I play for about 5-6 hours a week. Hope to play abit more when exams end and I get home (especially want to play some MP). Would like to finish my Hayasdan campaign during these two weeks before I leave for work. It is most likely to be a summer without EB..sadly..

After spending some time playing MTW II and other games, I came back to EB 1.2 (yes, we came back when the game is good!) so now I play all and every time I can, usually, more than 30 hs (mostly at night since I do not sleep more than 5 hours a day)

Just want to add that I have dreams too about the game, what to conquer and stuff like that. (No wet)

Less than 5 for me. University, friends and all sorts of things seem to drain most of my leisure time, leaving me with little to no time for EB mostly. But I very much enjoy my time playing, while sometimes I plan my movements before I actually play, taking mental notes of things I want to do. This makes the time I actually play EB much more enjoyable than just burning hours behind the computer screen (which I used to do some years ago).

Indeed, been wondering that as well. I'd get my brains burned if I did :dizzy2:

None. Well, I played about 10 hours of EB since Christmas holidays. I basically had two occasions. But today was the last day of school for me. Perfect. The only thing is, I am taking extra classes during the summer. In any case, I will play more EB soon.

EDIT: Wait, nevermind. I played 10 hours of EB since Christmas, but then I had a county (a region within a US state; mine has almost exactly 300,000 people) academic team (Quizbowl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quiz_bowl)) State Championship trip this April. During that trip, we were in DisneyWorld, Orlando (Florida) but since Disney is quite rotten in my opinion, I stayed in the hotel and played EB for most of the time. Even though I had free passes to all the Disney parks. So anyway, I played about 40 hours of EB during five days. Or even more. We woke up at 6:30, had breakfast, then competitions until about 13:00 and after that, free time.

Of course, we all stayed up until 2:00 playing games on out laptops. It was quite humorous. There we were, six nerds in three rooms, all on their laptops clicking away. Best days of my life this year. Games, academic competitions, Disney, fellowship with a bunch of the nerdiest people you will ever meet in your entire life... Perfect for a nerd like me.

I have an unusually unique situation where i can get by off my reserve pay. Since I don't work as much as other people who make the same money I can lay about doing bugger all often. Still I don't play that much EB(5-10 hours). I generally just leave the computer on and go about my day, errands and such, hang out with friends and check messages and computer what have you's in passing. like now... I was just walking through to grab my guitar to jam with one of my squadmates. turrah!

You do realize there's something after school that takes even more time than your schooling, right?

I realise that Im going to higher schools after this, and to work after that. But that has nothing to do with the 13 and half weeks freedom I now enjoy!:laugh4::laugh4::laugh4:

I accidently clicked 5-10 but normally i get abot 5- hrs. especially now with baseball. I also have other games competing for my attention so i have to split time. I love being a kid. You get a whole s*** load of time to play especially during the summer.

I average 5-10. I put in a solid 2 hours on a Saturday, maybe 2 on a Sunday morning in between cooking and housework. I might grab an hour on a week night or two, so about 6 a week is normal.

Just short sessions like that keep me interested, and I can mull the events rather than running them together. I have gorged on EB (eg when I first got it) with a 5-6 hour session but I just got a headache, and Makedon-fatigue.
