View Full Version : Some Questions
Mind my constant threads if questions:sweatdrop: But my constant curiosity needs tending:book:
Ok here we go!
1) How do i get Eqvites Extraordinarii and Samnitici Milites?
2) What temple gives the trait occasional drinker? Temple of Juno?
3) As the Romani do i get anything at all by building the Auxiliary building? The one that enable you to recruit regional troops.
4) Is "Grant of Land" worth building?
5) When the reforms occur does it effect the regional troops you can recruit?
Many thanks again!

1)
Look it up in the recruitment viewer next time -
Samnitici Milites: lvl 4 native MIC
Equites Extraordinarii: lvl 5 native MIC
...
2)
Auguries, not temples - I recommend not building them if you want to keep a governor in the city.
3)
Definitely look this up in the recruitment viewer; you will get regional troops nearly everywhere.
4)
It leads to further buildings that will heavily boost your population growth.
Look it up in the build tree.
5)
It should only affect factional MICs AFAIK.

1) Build a level 4 or 5 MIC in Arpi, Capua, Taras (only after the Polybian reforms possible) or Region (only after the Polybian Reforms possible).
2) AFAIK the Augurum Aedes and the Augurum Collegium give you such traits.
3) Depends on the AOR (area of recruitment), in Gaul you will get Gallic units, in Greek you will get Greek units. In central Italy you won't get regional units, cause this is your Homeland. Other factions are able to recruit Italic units in central Italy with regional MICs.
In Taras and Region for exmaple you can recruit Akontistai, Toxotai, Peltastai or Hoplitai in your regional MIC.
4) You can upgrade this building to Villae Rusticae (Agricultural Estates) and then to Latifundia
(Industrialized Agricultural Estates). They give you a popularion grow bonus and a trade income bonus, but also a malus on law. Your choice.
5) No, only your factional units are effected by reforms.
Ceterum censeo Romam esse delendam.

It depends, I guess. Each trait has its own advantages and disadvantages, it is up to you to decide which you like the best. Even though I believe there probably isn't any trait that necessarily "better" than others (of the ones that give you things, instead of taking them away.

Doesn't Celebrated Triumpher get you +3 influence? Can't think of any better than that.
Yeah i like that trait., actually got Scipio the Celebtrated Triumphator at the year 264 BC =)
More or less i'd like all if not most of my FM to become Consuls Lol
