I wondering if you guys were going to implement any traits or tweaks to make it so that casualties recover more in this brand of EB. To be honest, the standard rates suck (censored) in both RTW and M2TW, and I think are fairly unrealistic. 100 men go down in a fight, only 2 recover? Yeah right. I can understand infection, being physically disabled etc but it's a little difficult to keep up a campaign if half your army disapates in one battle.

If you guys don't wanna change it, it's cool. I can see how this might upset game balances and all. Just a suggestion.

I think that the causality rates favour the victor already too much. Let's not skew it any further. In reality, it was rare for a fleeing army to be annihilated unless it ran into unfavourable terrain. In TW, a few light cavalry unit suffice to mop up most of an army.

kk - if i ever manage to get over my indolent lardy arse i'll just do it myself.

Anywho, i take it that cutting the battle short is not possible, meaning that you aren't allowed to pursue, thus preventing the victor from total victory? You guys probably would have done that already if you could have...

All that you must done is slip 2 unit of Hippakontistai behind enemy line, hide them in the forest... and order them to mop up routing enemy units... if they are run out of the battle zone, you'll never chase them... (think about civilian casualities too...)
