Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!

For the mod obviously :P

I learned more from the mod than from most history books (especially about the Eastern regions), and the gameplay is almost perfect, marred only by the retarded AI you can't do much about.

I can't believe you people put in so much work and created something so brilliant.

And to give some sort of substance to my post, here's a interesting (and controversial) quote from Plato:

The main principle is this--that nobody, male or female, should ever be left without control, nor should anyone, whether at work or in play, grow habituated in mind to acting alone and on his own initiative, but he should live always, both in war and peace, with his eyes fixed constantly on his commander and following his lead; and he should be guided by him even in the smallest detail of his actions;

WELCOME FRIEND TO THIS FORUM! I hope we'll have the pleasure to count another Sweboz in our rank (because I start feeling alone!)

Have fun and don't forget to distrust any Hellenes or Roman

Thanks!
I actually do play the Sweboz quite a bit, they are my favourite Western faction :P

But I've recently started an Armenian campaign, and and enjoying myself immensly! Wow, there are just so many diverse cultures, languages, ideas and aristic/architectural/organizational achievements. I mean, I always knew that this was so rationally, but only in EB did I get a real feeling for the diversity and chaos of the period.
You also get to realize how much "globalization" has changed the world - mostly for the better, perhaps, but no longer is each city/tribe a whole secret and separate world, like it was then.

Welcome, philos! You'll have a good time here in the fora, there are lots of intelligent people here and you'll learn lots if you keep your mind open. You'll have an even better time if you also join my Social Group, the Romaioktonoi, but that's up to you of course.
