They sell little kits you can use to fix it, with a little thing you can squeeze to push some hot water and vinegar into your ear. If my memory serves me correctly.

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, at the time I did a lot of swimming however so it turned out to be an ear infection.
Your symptoms seem very similar to what I had however, if it continue or begins to hurt your best of going to a doctor.

Poor Grizz.
I guess the usual remedies (yawning, coughing, deliberate swallowing) haven't helped? Can you "hear" fluid moving around inside? I had that once. It was blocked Eustacian Tube (http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.nlm.nih.gov/MEDLINEPLUS/ency/images/ency/fullsize/19596.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.nlm.nih.gov/MEDLINEPLUS/ency/imagepages/19596.htm&h=320&w=400&sz=24&tbnid=nVShKjRgAHsJZM:&tbnh=99&tbnw=124&prev=/images%3Fq%3DEUSTACIAN%2BTUBE&usg=__YLB8jKV16SSgno8FBrnVqqgjFPc=&ei=O5MiSt-ZOpqeMpSTxZkJ&sa=X&oi=image_result&resnum=5&ct=image). I took Dristan, an OTC decongestant; cleared up in a couple hours.
However, if you have pain with this thingee, go get some of the free med care you guys have over there.
Tried earbuds? Or is it blocked deeper in the ear?

Yeah its the fluid in the ear thing, i have tried getting to it... its too deep...
I think you may be right on the money with the blocked e(something) tube KK, i have been suffering from a flu, just getting over it... so that would make sense...
Its not really painful, just irritating... and slightly harder to hear... my hearinng isn't the best to begin with...
Ill have a go with the kit or decongestant and see it that clears it up... if not to the doctors...
Thanks guys!

Sounds like you have ear cancer. Just to be sure its not anything else, dip a cotton bud in TCP and stick it as far into your ear as you can and see if that helps.

Sounds like you have ear cancer.
I disagree; this is a clear case of monkeypox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monkeypox).

Sounds like a barge jam on the Eary Canal. Try ear whacks with the palm of your hand.

You know, in all seriousness, maybe you have spiders living inside your ear. It happens. A LOT. (http://www.monstersandcritics.com/people/news/article_1301310.php/Oregon_kid_has_spiders_inside_his_ears)

It's probably an ear infection. The few that I have experienced became quite painful after a while, a sharp pain like someone jabbing an icepick into my ear. For temporary relief I used to put a drop or two of Sweet Oil (http://www.articlesbase.com/alternative-medicine-articles/home-remedies-for-ear-infections-665037.html) in the ear, kept in place with a cotton ball, and lay down on the opposite side. Be aware that infections love warm moist areas so this won't cure the infection, but takes care of the pain/discomfort till one can see a doctor for the proper treatment and/or medication *antibiotics*.

Hey, that only happens when you put Rice Crispies in your ears. Everybody knows that.
Mama Kukri used to chide we kids about growing potatos in our ears. :laugh4:

Does moving your head from side to side make it happen. Well, not side to side, but tilting it.
I sometimes get water stuck in my ears, something like Aquaear or anything that gets rid of swimmers ear or whatever they call it might help. Plus, it has alcohol in it.

Could you actually have water in your ear? It happens quite often to me and all I do is lay down on my side with the affected ear face down, all the water simply drains out. Or on the rare occaison that it won't just drain out I put the palm of my hand against the side of my ear and use it like a plunger, then the water will drain out when I lay down again

be like van gogh and cut it off. that will solve it fast.
Not really, the problem is inside the ear so that would solve nothing

Well I did in in the middle of an astro turf and on the hottest day britian has had for quite a while... so probably not...
I did read in the link pever gave me about humidity being a possible cause (which would make sense being a very hot day an all) and KK's link mentioned flu as a possible cause (just getting over one)
Thanks for all the replies...
I have managed to lessen the annoyance with a mix of gregoshi's palm plunger and miotas leaning to the side (my friend actually mentioned it earlier but you get the in thread credit, although im not sure that did do much..) so for the moment it seems less, without any feeling of liqud exiting my ear...
Hopefully i shall get some nice commercial product to sort it out today!

Now I think about it, a similar thing happened to me playing football once. We were playing on the school playground, when someone went to kick the ball and his shoe flew off his foot and travelled about ten feet to smack me in the ear. Once the ringing went away, it felt like it was blocked and didn't feel right until later the next day. Could the ball have hit you ackwardly in the ear or something?

Pretty sure it didn't get hit... as i remeber the ball just went out of play and as i was making my way down to the oppositions goal it felt a little blocked all of a sudden...
Still no product today!
Getting some tomorrow though... hopefully...
