I know there have been several complaints that battle replays don't work out the same way as the original battle. I experienced this myself for the umpteenth time today with a particularly nice Getai vs. Romani game.
Now, after some testing, I think that I may have found the answer. One uses EB Multiplayer to play the battle and EB Singleplayer to watch the replay, no? And these use two different EDUs, no?
So, essentially, one must replace the sp game edu backup with the mp game edu backup (making sure to make a copy of the sp edu, of course). After all, the battle was played with the mp game edu, and so the replay must have the same edu.
Substitute the sp edu back in before playing a campaign, and you should be all set.
I would appreciate people testing this. It's worked for a few of my battles, and I hope it can work for those wanting to watch online battles as they actually occurred.
