Reinforcements?...

I just recently created this account because I can't seem to get reinforcements in time for battles. Am I missing a patch? This already costed me an epic battle I could've won against the Ptolemaioi and I had to come ask. I have EB 1.2. Is this a common error? Thanks

Go to your preferences file in the EB folder and change Unlimited Men on the Battlefield to TRUE.

Yes, that will help, but note that of course, you will not be able to control those reinforcements if you already have 20 units in an army, until one of your 20 starting units is either killed to the last man or routs beyond map borders.

Just a friendly reminder :wink:. Those extra reinforcements can help you even if you already have 20 units, but they will be AI-controlled, meaning that they will preform horribly. AI is never good with reinforcements. It will make them run until they are exhausted and then feed them into the enemy hands piece-by-piece, unit-by-unit. AI reinforcements will not keep together in other words.

oh I know, but it's always good to have that cannon fodder/distraction to keep the enemy AI busy. that's why I never put generals in charge of reinforcements. the AI just sends him charging into a wall of pikes. but anyway, I changed the file and it works now. :beam: thanks
