Okay so, while waiting for my Metal gear mafia to get anywhere near the top. I figure I should take a crack at doing my own mini game. To get the hang of some balancing ideas I have floating around, and getting used to running things and not giving stuff away. You know, baby steps.

No prior knowledge of this game is required, I will cover everything from Roleplaying (possibly mandatory for some people) to backstory if enough interest is generated.

Alright, signups are full. once I get home to my computer (I'm at school after taking my final final) I will post up the opening and get on the role PMs

Some of you will recieve your respective "Meet the ____" videos as part of your character, and those who need to roleplay will be told so and how if needed.

Just because someone doesn't have a Meet the video (Pyro, Medic) doesn't mean that they're automatically spy.

This will remain as true to the game as I can allow, being an outsider of TF2 myself but a fan of the premise.

Sorry AVSM, no steam right now, not until I can get an external and run bootcamp on my mac :/


Rules:
Standard stuff I suppose, dead can talk but no PMs, play fair, try not to get too angry over things. NO Pm quoting or screenshots, evidence that is found outside the game can be used but they may not be correct so don't rely too heavily on things.

Um yeah so since the site was down I'm going to give it a little bit before I send out the PMs, this gives me a little bit more time to touch up the story post.

CP_Dustbowl. high noon. The red team gathers around their control point, preparing to defend...

A large man stepped forward, placing his hands akimbo, he took a deep breath and sighed nostalgically. He checked his helmet and let his small squinting eyes observe, before re-placing his helmet on his head and sighing again

"Boy this brings me back, I remember back in '73 when I made it through basic, it was insane back then. They shot live bullets at you, and the ones who didn't survive, they fed to pigs! Then we filled the pigs with bombs and shot them out of cannons at the enemy, that way the ones who weren't good enough at least got to do something with their pitiful lives! Those were the days, now we've got dirty hooligans like you in the army!"

The large disgruntled soldier poked a skinnier man, standing next to him, in the chest.

"Uh... Yeah... Pal?" the skinnier man said. "Uh... huh... how do I put this..." the man thought for a second, he was usually very quick on his feet, but this nutjob had sort of unsettled him. "What the eff are you talking about?" he continued.


"War son!" he poked him in the chest again, "I'm talking about carnage, battle, chaos, death, violence! Things you young-ins aren't ready for! Rockets everywhere, bullets flying, men exploding and the smell of burning flesh in the air! You gotta be on your feet! Any time you let your guard down..."

"POW!" he shot a rocket out of his rocket launcher, hitting a gas-mask wearing fellow in the face. He promptly exploded into tiny giblets, which flew up into the air. The man's large flamethrower hit the ground in front of them, followed quickly by his masked head, which landed right in front of the skinny guy.


"Jesus christ!" The skinny man jumped back, and screamed, the other soldiers followed suit, He pulled out his baseball bat. "What the hell did you do that for?!"

The soldier just laughed, as he walked over to the Pyromaniac's corpse, or what he could find of it, and kicked it. His uniform promptly turned a deep shade of BLU, and his masked face turned into another masked face. That of a spy! Then his gun turned from a large flamethrower, into a smaller magnum.

The men standing around backed away, fearing the spy even in his dead state.

The scout poked the corpse several times with his bat. "How did you kn-"

"Soldier's intuition!" the soldier shouted, "I am always vigilant on the battlefield, always ready, always prepared to fi-"

The soldier stopped, and his head shook slightly. Finally he fell forward and hit the floor face first, a blue balisong planted in his back, with a note on it. The men jumped, a hardhatted one started looking around nervously, the man covered in explosives pulled out his gun and look around nervously.

A rather large, no... rather gigantic man lowered his gun and stepped forward. he dropped to one knee and pulled the knife out of the soldier's back. The man grunted and struggled to read the note, it was clear he was either incredibly slow, or english wasn't his first language. Perhaps both the others though.


Oh... so sad... Pitiful RED team tripping over themselves, but it is no matter. You shall all die shortly. Look at you, you big lummox, I doubt you can even read this. Oh well, you will be taken care of shortly, a demain!

The man stared at it some more, turning it over several times. He then growled and crumpled the note, throwing it away.


"COVARDS! GO! HIDE LIKE THE BABIES YOU ARE! BECAUSE YOU ARE COVARDS! AND NOW IS COVARD KILLING TIME!" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFx12VoXAIA)

With that the RED team looked nervously at each other, they all knew of the Spy's tricks, he could be disguised as any one of them, they could even be invisible, planning to stab them where they stood.

Could the red team win? Would they survive?

Only time would tell, and that time was running rather short.

I wish I joined this game, Spy is one of my favourites, though I really hate how everyone has turned to basically TK-ing in game to make sure they are not a spy. Even when it looks really obviously not a spy, they shoot them.

The RED team sat around quite a while, with some glances of suspicion at each other occasionally. The silence was broken when an expert on spies quickly pointed out one random man.

"YOU!" the man yelled in a French accent. "You are too quiet, yes? Spies are trained to be the silent, you must be the spy!"

The man made no response

"NOT TALKING EH? SPY" he man screamed as loud as he could. He jumped forward, whipped out his butterfly knife and stabbed the man in the stomach.

The other man just fell over, his head rolled off and straw came pouring out.

"Hmmm... it seems you are not him," he then turned to another quiet looking man, rather small and with glasses, "Surely, YOU must be the spy then!"

"Vat? Me? Um... I do not think ve should think about 'zis a beeet more... Perhaps you are zee spy, trying to bandwaggon me?" The meek man inquired.


"OF COURSE I'M THE SPY!" the RED man shouted, "I'M YOUR SPY! A MASTER OF DISGUISES, AND SPY-LIKE THINGS! I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT SPIES, YOU MUST BE ONE!!" the man was manic, over seemingly nothing, but he regained his composure. "I humbly vote for that man..."

The rest of the RED team deliberated, but saw no just reason to kill anyone else. All the others could do was point fingers at each other, "Like the dumbkoffs they are," the meek man said.

"You, boy" the Medic said. "You seem to agree with me, ja? How about we get rid of this other crazy man?"

"Hmm... I dunno, bonk. I mean I could take him, have you seen my muscles?" the Scout replied.

"Of course I have, I'm sure you could, plus I think he may be the blue spy..." the Medic whispered now, trying to not alert the possible spy.

"A SPY?!" the scout shouted, "THE RED SPY'S A SPY! GET HIM! BONK!" the scout screamed as he charged manically at the spy.

"No! No Wait, you misunderstand! I'm your spy! I can investiga-" the spy cried out.

No one heard his cries of innocence over the bonks, boinks, and taunts of the scout, they were drowned out thoroughly.


In the end all that was left was the bloody corpse of a RED spy, cigarette still smoldering.


The team waited all day, but he never turned blu...

I realized that's part of hosting, unless you have a very stable schedule.

The room was dark, a small crack of door allowed a single source of light in. From outside the door a deep, loud snore was heard.

The large man inside awoke with a startle, he had heard something from the hall. He picked up his beloved Sasha, and plodded towards the door.

He stopped about 3 feet from the door, and lowered the gun's massive barrel.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN OUTSMART BOOLET?!" he screamed, unloading the gun for about 20 seconds into the door.


by the time he stopped firing the door had ceased to exist. The heavy weapons guy smiled, feeling quite triumphant, he looked through the door and saw a messy bloody looking corpse on the floor. "Is that.... no" he looked down and saw the red spy's corpse, "But we.... the tiny man..."

He stared at it for a while, trying to make sense of things how could he have survived? Did he survive? If he did, what's he doing here? If he didn't, what the hell is he doing here?!

As the heavy pondered these things deeply, a man approached him from behind. He placed his hand on his shoulder and looked over at the corpse along-side the heavy.

"Whooee... Looks like ya got him, eh?" the man said.

Startled, the heavy jumped out the doorway, and fell onto the corpse of the red spy. "How did you get in my room?!"

"I snuck in a second ago, you got yourself a nice room ya know," the man said again. He outstretched his hand towards the heavy.

"T-thanks... I'm a leetle prone to falling," the heavy said grabbing the man's hand.

"No problem, I'm just here to make sure you stay down." the man said as he pulled the heavy up with one hand, his other hand quickly whipped out a balisong which stabbed into the heavy's massive gut.

The heavy gasped, how could this have happened? How could his own friend betray him? "But....." the heavy's eyes narrowed "YOU!" he shouted.

The man standing before him said nothing, but simply lit a cigarette and walked away, down the hall.


The heavy crawled into his room, clutching his stomach, all these events, all this thinking, it made him tired, sleepy. He crawled into his bed and sat there, he was ever so tired, but he could not sleep now. The heavy reached onto his nightstand and grabbed his greatest love, his mighty Sandvich.

"Oh sandvich, I could never tell you how much I cared, not with Sasha around. You are the mightiest of weapons, and now, I need you" a tear streamed down the heavy's cheek as he took a large bite of the sandvich. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydqL6T8YHRs)

The heavy keeled over, clutching his stomach in one hand, the sandvich in the other, and everything went quiet.

"A-HAHAHAHA!" he roared Triumphantly (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH7m8kL9Yf4), "Sandvich, you did well! You are credit to team!"

The heavy jumped up and began to dance with sasha, he had lived! That dirty spy had failed!



LittleGrizzly - The Heavy - Has survived a night attack thanks to the Sandvich!


As morning came, the men gathered around the heavy's room, and saw him sitting on his bed, holding the plate his sandvich was on, and Sasha. He had refused sleep after the night's actions earlier.

He waved eagerly at the men as he saw them. "Hallo comrades! Look at what my sandvich has done!" he shouted with glee.

The men looked inside and he began humming again, they looked at the floor and saw pieces of a door and the red spy's corpse.

No one really had the guts to say anything to a man humming so insanely, or a man who had blown apart his own door and mutilated the corpse of a teammate, with a sandwhich apparently. So they sort of walked away, and back outside. He soon followed.



After the night, they began to deliberate again.

I have two priorities:

1. killing the opposing side
2. getting people to talk

Talk and vote or you get my vote. Mafia games suck when lurkers win or when town loses due to inactivity. Captain Blackadder knows what I am talking about. My first mafia victory at TWC was due to a totally negligent town. Me and Rob_The_Celt were two of the only people talking. I thought it was painfully obvious we were mafia and unfortunately it was to Blackadder too but there was not a whole lot of people even voting. If Jubal was WOG'ging people we would have won just due to inactive townies alone, but people skated right through the game doing nothing. You wonder why I don't play over there anymore.

I guess a re read is in order, i would say though pizza and everyone else, just because my innocence is proved does not make me any better at finding suspects than anyone else....

The only thing it does let you know is that you aren't following the case made by a guilty person... which i suppose is a good thing

Still simply transferring the suspect hunt to who i suspect limits us to only my mafia finding skills.... and it also takes the pressure off whoever the scum is to try and make a case against someone... the scum and the regular townies can simply get lazy follow my lead activity in the thread drys up leaving me playing a guessing game with everyone following my lead....

Assuming everything goes "normal" and nobody gets blocked or anything, this game will be hanging by a thread by the next day phase... Think carefully. Less suspects by the last round is optimal, so we have a better % chance to ID the mafia.

The sun was beginning to set, tensions rose as the men realized that they may not be so lucky as they had been last night...

Accusations flew everywhere, some men complained of others not contributing as much, those men defended themselves with little care in their words, not that they were guilty, it's just that being there doesn't always mean you're innocent.

AVSM came blazing back into the thread upon being accused, he complained of his odd sleeping hours.

"I couldn't possibly be here to contribute 24/7! It's difficult enough trying to balance sleep with my guns. I'm always out there fixing them, it's like if I leave them alone for two minutes they go an' break down on me! It's miserable here like this!" the exasperated engineer said

The sniper grumbled to himself, "You damn engies are almost as bad as the spies, using these mechanical jibbets to do yer dirty work, can't even bloody yer own hands can ya?" he grumbled. "Makes me sick, no wonder those backstabbing arseholes are always disguised as ya, they can't fight worth a damn either." with this the sniper pointed towards the RED scout's makeshift grave.

"Well lookie here you," the engie pulled out his wrench and slapped it in his hand a couple of times, "I know damn[/u] well how to handle myself, thank-yew-very-much!" to emphasize this point he swung the wrench around at the sniper's head level.

"Fah!" the demoman groaned, "Ye' don't even look like ye' could hurt a fly! Ye'er blasted guns doo all the fightin' for ye!" the demoman said in a thick accent.

"Whadda'yew know?! Yew just use damn explosives to blow people to smitheroons! Yew barely have to try!" the engie angrily fired back. "Maybe [i]yer the spy! Trying to confuse us with yer jibber-jabber!" the engie quickly changed his attack to the demoman.

"Agh, yew don't seem ta' undoorstand laddie' Ahm not the man yer lookin' fer. I think ye are!" the scottish madman belted back, and I intend to prove it!


The engie realized that sh*t just got real, and he dropped a teleporter (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LigbX94pko) on the floor, warping him away from the demoman and the others, and back into his room. He began to pack his items and mobilize his sentries, he didn't show any weakness to the BLUs, why would he let his own men take him down without a fight?

The sentries began looking around, as if sensing a target, then a gentile knock came at the door. AVSM opened it, and saw the demoman, standing sans his explosives in the doorway, with his hands up.

"Look, er... I dinn'ae mean to get ye killed... I just wanted to spark a little discussion..." he scotsman apologized, as he took a swig from his bottle of hooch.

AVSM just stood there in silence, he nodded slightly, he understood, he had not always been the most helpful, but he was still there for the town. Protecting during the day, and at the dead of night. How could they betray him like this.

"Well... come on partner... at least let me face them with a friend" AVSM looked up for the demoman, but he had walked outside already.

"Hmmm..." he said, "I best get goi-" he stopped dead in his tracks, "This feeling.... so strange..... feels like.. SPY SAPPIN' MAH SENTRRY!!"

AVSM spun around,he saw his sentries down, and a man stood in the middle of the room, with a large pistol's barrel leveled at his head.

"A protection role eh?" the spy puffed on his cigarette and grinned, "I sure am glad they chose you, saves me the trouble of running into you in the night, and having to deal with your sentries protecting you, or someone else." The spy laughed and walked up to AVSM, he took on the face of the medic.

"Y-you!" AVSM shouted.

The spy laughed, "I have many faces," he said, changing to the heavy, scout, demoman, and then the engineer himself. "I can do it all!" he delighted at this, then he turned back into the medic.

"Oh ATPG! zere appears to be a spy disguised as an engie in here!~" he said sing-songily.

Within seconds ATPG came blazing in the room, he took a large swig of Bonk! and started running circles around AVSM

"Wa-na-na-na-na-na-na," he chanted, running laps around the poor engie, he hit him every once in a while, before taking another swig and running even faster than the spy could see.

"Good, good" the spy said, and departed hastily.

By the time ATPG was done there was little left of AVSM that could be salvaged, as he bled from everywhere, he simply said.

"Should'a used more guns..."

The writeup I had previously promised. Involving ATPG's death.


It was a quiet night, as usual in the RED base. and everyone was asleep. Sans a few people....

One such man was ATPG.

Now, don't get me wrong, ATPG loved his sleep, he needed his beauty sleep to keep his muscles large and his face gorgeous, but tonight was an exception. He couldn't sleep you see, as he was still on a rush from all the Bonk! he had earlier.

So he sat there in his bed, jittering, clutching his bat in one hand, and another Bonk! in the other, scanning the room nervously. He had an anxious feeling that the spy had him do his dirty work in the day, and now he would die at night!

"Damn spies, can never trust them or a thing they do, not even our spy, can't trust em to save you or even glance your way if you're pinned down, all they care about is themselves, dime a dozen scumbas I tells ya, scumbags!" he spoke aloud, not to anyone in particular.

"Yanno? You're right?" another man chimed in. " Bunch of losers them spies" another chimed in.

ATPG began loking everywhere, and everywhere he looked he saw other scouts, they... they weren't him were they?

"Wh- Who the *BONK* are you?" ATPG screamed at the clones.


"We're... well we're you. SO... what's up?" they all said in unison, except for one, who approached him slowly. The clone placed a hand on ATPG's shoulder and laughed at him.

"Well, I suppose the easy way to put it is.... this is a hallucination, maybe you should stop drinking all of these energy drinks?" the peculiar clone said to him.

ATPG slowly processed what the man said, a look of disgust and horror came across his face.

"Y-YOU! YOU'RE NOT REAL!" ATPG screamed, and the clones all in unison gasped. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBrFTDGjSVw&feature=related)


"GET HIM!" ATPG screamed, and massed a charge against the spy with his clone brethren.

It was chaos, there were bats and balls flying everywhere, hundreds of scouts were taunting everything they hit, from the bed to the wall to the lamps, to even each other, it was sheer madness, and no one was safe. ATPG was running around beating his own clones to death, sure one of them was the spy.


Finally there were just two bodies left standing, a man who calmly stood across from ATPG. ATPG was breathing heavily, and the other man was not. "You'll never get me!" ATPG screamed as he ran at the spy and took one last swing for dear life...




During all this commotion two men stood in a room, two men stood in LittleGrizzly's room to be more specific. One of them was obviously LittleGrizzly and the other was a slender man with a heavy german accent. Paired with LG's heavy russian accent the two made a nice couple, but this night the german medic had a job, he had the job of protecting LG.

Of course, having been attacked before LG was a little weary of this attempt to help him, and insisted he stayed up to watch the doctor. The doctor sat there all night using his gun to heal the slightly wounded LG back to full health.

In the morning he was as good as new!





The BLU spy woke up in a mess, everywhere he looked around him things were *BONK*ing messed up, there was blood everywhere and everything in the room was broken. He looked at himself in the only unbroken thing in the room, the mirror, he saw he was still wearing the scout's mask.

"My god!" He turned around to face the scout, his nemesis from last night! How could he have forgotten? He thought very hard... he remembered the scout flipping out and shouting at him, and then... a bat to the head? He would leave that part out when retelling the story.


He saw the scout, breathing shallowly in the middle of the room, and he walked over and rolled him on his back.

The scout was a mess, Bonk! and blood were pouring out of his body, his headset was broken, his face bloodied and bruised, and his skull cracked open from a bat to the head. The spy considered pulling out his butterfly knife to end the spy, the spy simply looked at him.

"You did this to yourself, you deserve no sympathy, you crazy man you." the spy said, as he stabbed the spy and left the room.

Today was quite hot, a few men were sweating for other reasons however...

The sniper shifted uneasily, he didn't like this at all, he had no real arguments aside from people not talking.

The demoman was the first to accuse, blaming the medic, in "An attempt to further discussion" as he would've said.

The medic turned around and pointed fingers at the sniper, "You're the only one the spy didn't change to, you must be the spy! Trying to protect yourself!" he assured himself and everyone else.

"Oi, you! I think you're particuarly scummy! You just seem to vote nonsensically!" the sniper retorted back at the medic.

The heavy shifted where he was standing, "Hum... the demoman seems to be a leetle nervous.... but this sniper is giving me some bad vibes."

Everyone was pretty astounded he could pronounce all those words, let alone string them into a sentence!

The demoman turned around "Nothing to lose eh lads?" and he quickly turned his attention towards the sniper.


"Now wait just a damn minute!" Blackadder began to shout. "You think I'm the suspicious one? I'm the most normal bloke in these parts?


"Pretty much," the heavy said, lowering his precious sasha at him. "and for your normalcy..." the heavy paused a moment, searching for his next eloquent words that he would masterfully string together. "You are doing the death."

With that he unloaded his huge gun at the Blackadder who just closed his eyes and covered his ears.



The heavy laughed, and stopped firing. Blackadder uncovered his ears and opened his eyes, He looked around him and saw bullet holes everywhere.

He snickered, "Whoo boy, that was so terrifying, why don't you ju-" Blackadder had opened his eyes at where the heavy was standing, but instead saw the heavy charging at him, bare-fisted. "Whoa wait what're you d-"

Blackadder had almost finished his sentence when he was punched right in the face. His jaw separated from his head and his tongue hung out, he attempted to grab it and push it back in his mouth but the heavy's second punch knocked his torso clean off of the rest of his body parts.

They watched his face on the floor, but it still did not turn

This was a bad turn of events for the RED team...

The night was dark, dark as dustbowl got anyway. As the men tried to sleep, one of them was wide awake. Paranoid...

The demoman sat in his room, thinking. In his room, on the floor was the head of Splitpersonality, the soldier. He looked at it, asking him questions every so often, much to his dismay the head said very little. The Deathisyonder placed his head in his hands, and he took a deep breath and sighed. What was he going to do? He knew that the success of the town hung in the balance that night, and if things went wrong anywhere down the line he would lose.

"Lose..." he said to himself and chuckled, "like this were actually a game.." he sighed again and took a swig from his bottle.

There was a gentile rap on the door, "Who is it?" he inquired, picking up his demogun.

"It is, me" Atheotes said, "the medic."

DIY loaded his grenade launcher, "Keep talkin' why are ya here?" he cautiously asked.

"I- I don't know, with all this going on, I had to check on you, it's my job as a medic you know... I have to help people. Can you let me in to make sure you're okay? I need to see it myself" Atheotes said.

DIY wasn't sure about his story, but he sounded sincere, so he opened the door. Atheotes stood poised at the door, pointing his medic gun towards DIY, and before he could act, the gun fired into him.

It burned immensely, which was the exact opposite effect he had expected! He began to scream for help, as Atheotes simply stared at him, "Oh? You weren't expecting this," his smile turned evil. "Let me turn it down some then!"

but he only cranked the gun up more, and as DIY rolled around in agony, LG came running down the hallway. Atheotes faltered and turned to face LG, "You're just in time to help me-" but LG charged right through him, knocking him into a wall, and planting Sasha on his chest.

"You are spy! Hurting teammates! Now you die!" and LG began turning the barrels on Sasha.

"No no! You're making a misake! He's the spy! I'm the protection role!" Atheotes pleaded.

"Fah!" LG scoffed, "Some protection role, you did nothing tonight! SPY" he shouted. "And for that, you die!" LG screamed, and his gun whirred, as he pulled the trigger and the bullets ripped through the poor medic's stomach, and the wall, and the force of the gun propelled LG backwards away from the wall. By the time he stopped sliding he was standing in the doorway of the demoman's room.

He panted out of breath, "What do you think of my vepon? Puny man. Huff... Huff..." LG was thoroughly out of breath from all that running. A little too out of breath, more-so than usual...

He sat down on the floor and braced himself against the wall, "It seems I am... a little more winded than usual... but we got him eh?" LG saw Atheotes turn into the BLU spy, and he laughed. "That idiot! Thought he could outsmart my beautiful.... huff.... sasha... huff...." LG laughed to himself a bit.

The final tally it seemed so clear in LG's mind...

Dawn broke... it was a peaceful scene, something very out of place in dustbowl... but it was still very nice

DIY returned to his room, he had gone outside in the middle of the night to think. As he walked down the hallway, he saw all the bodies, strewn about the base, and all the carnage and destruction that had befallen it. He then turned his gaze towards LG, whose lost breath had never returned to him. He died peacefully in the dead of the night.

DIY sighed to himself as he walked up to LG, "A good soldier... good till the end." He picked his body up slowly, and saw the butterfly knife planted in his back. He shook his head, grabbed it and pulled it out.

"What a shame..." he said, looking at the knife and LG. He folded it, put it away, and laid LG's body on his back, and he turned on his heels and walked back the way he had come. He muttered as he walked out, he pulled the knife out again and examined it. This one knife had done so much damage, killed so many people. Drained the life and souls from human beings, and here he was holding it like some trinket. He examined it closer, it was still covered in blood, and there was something else... No... It couldn't be, he stopped and felt nauseous. He regained his composure and began walking again, but it still irked him a bit.

He placed his hand on his face as he walked, and gripped it tightly, "This has all been too much..." he slowed his pace down as he stepped out of the building. He stopped outside, and glanced back over his shoulder. He looked back down at the knife in his hands, then back at LG... He took a deep breath and ripped his hand away from his face. he put a sad looking face and said...

I can't say I blame you, you're only a soldier for your team, whether or not you are a backstabbing scumbag is none of MY concern.

5. AVSM - Engineer

Congratulations, you're the RED team engineer!

You're a little crazy, but not more than anyone else on your team. You're quite passionate about your turrets, as you've designed them all.

Your can roleplay if you like, but it is not required.



Every night you can build ONE level one turret to protect one person, every day you can vote as normal. If the spy attacks your turret and saps it, you have a chance of getting to your turret in time and seeing him, that is up to chance.

4. Atheotes - Medic

Congratulations, you're the RED team medic!

Every day you vote as normal, and once per night you can use your doctor abilities to try and save someone from getting killed. There is not a guarantee that this will work, but rest assured you have an ally! There is one other pro-town protection role which you can contact and work with to increase your chances. Good luck finding him.

Sorry, I do not have a "Meet the" video for you, so you are one of two people to not get one.

You're german, that's really it, if you want to roleplay.

You cheeky backstabber!

You're the same brethren to the spy I killed and the one that killed me.

But you are much better, than those amateurs, you will find them and make them cry.

Once a day you can vote, at night you can turn invisible and investigate one person. You will get as much information on them as is deemed needed. I'd be careful roleplaying as the spy, because no one knows who to trust!

No quoting ANY PMs from me, and your results cannot be sent to anyone. You must use your wits and charm to try and convince your team of the results. Be careful, the enemy spy will be coming for you the same as the others.

7. ATPG - Scout

Congratulations! You're the "skinny guy", also known to some as the Scout.

You say Bonk and Boink a lot, you're signature weapon is your metal baseball bat. You were born in boston and have a very heavy boston accent. Extremely headstrong and cocky, you take pride in the fact that you are a madman.

During the day, you vote. At night, you do nothing.

On a side note, I laughed quite hard when Random.org pulled this out for you, as this role is the one required roleplay role.

You have no special abilities, but it is required you use "Bonk" or "Boink" in your posts.

You may or may not die a horrible death if you miss a bonk, that's not the best risk to take though.

You have a small increase in percent of surviving a night attack, as you are much faster than those spy scumbags.

You're a powerhouse of a man, large and in-charge in all meanings. You're pretty crazy, crazier than most, and you seem to revel in the death almost as much as the soldier does!

Your heavy chain gun, Sasha, is your pride and you let no one touch her.

You will crush the spies like the babies they are. Roleplaying for you would be a heavy russian accent.

During the day you discuss and vote, at night you sleep.

You're special item is the mighty Sandvich. You may use it as a one time protection item one night. Use it well!

I had a lot of fun writing this out, (read:Making it up as we went alone) and it was pretty surprising how well balanced it was in the end. (Read: How the hell did town almost win?) and a few things surprised me (Read: Why did the town destroy themselves?!)

It was a good game, and it played out very cool-like, I wish it had been larger and stuff and I wish certain things hadn't occurred. I almost wish ATPG had survived his night attack like his role promised. I almost wish Atheotes had protected someone on the last night, so things could've played out maybe differently, who knows?

The figures.

Engineer:
His protection ability had a 40% chance of telling him who the spy was. Sad that he never got to use it...

Medic:
He had a 30% chance of protection, and everytime someone died that percentage raised another 10%. Meaning on the final night he had a 70% chance of protecting himself or LittleGrizzly. DIY's job was to guess who wasn't being protected and hope random.org was kind to him.

If they had linked together, the medic and engineer I would've given them a cool tag-team ability, but AVSM was lynched before Atheotes could contact him, sadly.

Red Spy:
I toyed with this idea a lot, I considered giving you the ability to disguise yourself as one of your teammates for their ability, but that seemed too overpowered. In the end I settled on you being the investigator, and I would provide you with as much information as I deemed necessary in whatever stage of the game it was. 30% chance of learning the exact role (PM and all) of your victim, as well. This also would have risen to 70% by the last day.

I tried to think of other cool things, but they may have messed with the game too much imo, LG's sandvich was what almost won it for the reds though, and I'm happy that it worked out for him. He had a 70% chance of it saving him if attacked for one time, and that did indeed work out. Being the only confirmed role seemed to be a hard weight to bear on him though, and I'll keep this in mind for larger games...


All in all I'd like to thank you for bearing with me on my first game, and I hope I didn't make it too un-fun. Thanks for playing, good playing DIY and everyone else.

Yeah, I was guessing you were going to protect LG as after all, he already had a defense.

Was informed by split post kill attempt on LG that he was working on a kill defense system that gives him a % chance of survival.

I was thinking that after Blackadder's lynch it was pretty damning evidence that I was the mafia...

So it was just a game for me past that point whether to go for LG and hope that Atheotes goes for LG and I go for Atheotes.

All these mini mafia games are proving to be wonderful on the job mafia experience though :clown:

Frankly I thought I was pretty obvious by the last round that I was mafia...

I claimed demoman which was my cover, and you knew you were the Heavy with the medic still alive, and the medic actually did something last night phase, which proved clearly that the medic was not a bogus role but actually doing protecting.

So I thought long and hard about which person to choose to attack but I eventually decided to go with chance and bank on the possibility that you two were in contact already and Atheotes had discovered that you had a now active night defence, and instead choose to combine defensive ratings so that it would be easier to survive the random.org roll instead of having the percentages spread out :juggle2::juggle2:
