Number of Influence

I've noticed that even when a FM(not my own) has more Influence that his traits should give... er how is this possible? Also i recently noticed that one of my FM didn't get an additional influence point when he got the Great Vanquisher trait that gives +2 which should then have given him 10 in influence.

Is this a bug?

Post a screenshot of the FM and his full traits. Then I will see.

Normally there will be traits bringing his influence down, but on a few occasions I have had characters with influence lower than the traits/retinue would indicate. May be due to hidden traits we are unaware of, I have only had it with influence, never command or management.

The first one... EB gives bonuses to the AI FM's stats. Its +4 to all 3 stats, I think...

Actually, in my current Eperios campaign, I have the same thing. It is a bug however, and not hidden traits, AFAIK. I went through all of EDCT and found nothing that may cause this via hidden influence-lowering traits.

Well atleast i now know i'm not the only one with this so called bug., just like AP i strive for the double 10 and consulship for all my FM, corrently i only have 1 with the double 10 my Faction Leader(yeah i refuse to let him die)

I guess the obvious conclusion is at least one influence boosting trait doesn't work.

Yeah and that trait would be the "Great Vanquisher" Lol. Oh well this won't bother me that much seeing when he gets his triumphus he'l still have max influence =)
