There's been a big technical problem John-117. TosaInu, and I imagine, others, are working very hard to restore everything. It may take a little while, but you can be sure it will be restored. Just be patient, and perhaps if you are so inclined, appreciative. They do this for all of us.

I don't think anyone outside of administration really knows. The important thing is, we're recovering and have our board back thanks to some cool, dedicated folks.
I'd just go on about doing what you like doing. No use in worrying about it, etc.

I think it's kind of novelty having it like this, though I wouldn't want it for long, I like the nice warm RTW skin.

Personally, I usually have it set to daisy, which looks very similar to this.
+1 for the RTW theme. Is it the one that signals who's online with torches? If so, that's my favorite. It's definitely the warmest. =)

i typically dislike simple white or really light colors like it in forums. the only exception is the TWC medieval 2 theme and the .org RTW theme.

I miss my Sengoku skin :-(
O well, I guess blue org is better than no org...

This is pretty close to Sword Dojo for me. I'll take this over the CMS.

It's not that bad.Indeed. Its' back up, that's the main thing. Like the man said: remember that some people are investing a hell of a lot of spare time to keep the .org going.

I miss Sengoku :(
But yeah this is a million times better than no Org at all. Thanks Tosa and those who are also working on this!

Yeah. Back in 1957 when I was accepted for org membership, we had to belly-crawl naked uphill 4 miles, over barbed wire and broken glass, both ways, just to pick up the rusty campbell's soup can attached to 4 thousand miles of commo wire to Holland... just to hear TosaInu pronounce "Ja mata".
And we liked it. A lot.
Everything more than that = gravy.

Sure you're not conflating memories, chief?
Seriously though, I like the rtw skin, but I'd prefer they bring the smilies back first. Currently you have to hover the cursor over the emotes and read them.
After that, I want my toga'd avatar back! :clown:

I await the day when I will be able to get my Sengoku back....
This is actually the same forum skin I use at TWC, my normal one here is more blue and less white.

org is back, all is well.
As for OP...Humph.
But yeah, it is kind of a novelty. I sit here and think "Thank the lord I didnt have to look at this before!" We had choices. Ahh, the ignorance of the youth thesedays.

Hah, you think you got it bad, imagine how much Tribesman must be suffering. Poor lad, probably has put him off his beer....like a mime with no hands.
When I joined the .org, we had 2 threads and an account. And we had to share the account! And we were dang happy about it!

Why, I thought it was clear. It was an attack on the site. The hackers left their trace in the code that appeared when you vainly attempted to log onto .Org. Once again, I though this info was released and widely known?!?

We people are computer illiterates. Was it not for TosaInu or the glorious crowd of lonely nerd string pullers, then all these forums would quickly fall apart.
To be sincere I quite like the vBulletin skin: clean, modest, objective and fair.

When I joined you had to kill another member and take his account.

I would respond to that with a big grin smiley, but allas.

Where do they release things like that? I haven't known what happened exept what other people say. I typicly stay wrapped up in the EB, so which thread do they post important info in to let users know?
First there was some malware in one of the advertisements code, then there was an attack by hackers. Go to the watchtower for more info.
I don't know at what silly times you guys all joined, the only thing I had to was type my e-mail adress two times exactly the same. Which in my hounest opinion was hard enough. Though also had to remember my passwords, which was quite a challenge indeed.
