Love the show and was wondering if there were any BN fans here.

If you are not, Its a great show about a burned (fired) spy played by Jeffery Donovan. (recenty in the Nicole Kidman bomb Changeling)
A former IRA solider and bombmaking expert playes by the very sexy Gabrille Anwar (Princess Anne in season 1 on The Tudors shown on HBO)
And a former Navy SEAL played very well by everyones favorite B movie actor, and my hero, Bruce Campbell. (THIS! Is my BOOMstick)

Season 1 is on DVD, #2 is coming out on disk in a few weeks and season 3 is on at 8/9c on the USA chanel.

**guess which one the director always gives the shotgun to**

As soon as I saw Bruce Campbell was in it I liked it.

I know right? He has a funny role in the show and is really entertaining.
And there are some really good guest stars and recurring characters.

Honestly, for anyone who reads this thread and has never seen the show, you should.

Nice wet-work

I watch, find the low-budgetness interesting, like the first-person narrative, love the real-time voice-over expositions replete with wee nuggets. But have noticed the guest stars and recurring characters tend to be refugees from canceled series or those currently between-jobs. Cambell has some good lines; 'You know spies. Bunch of bitchy little girls.'

He's the king of one-liners.

My personal favorite is when Fiona tells Sam that he's not working hard enough on a particular task he was doing at the time, and Sam says

"Hey, I work plenty hard, lady. I just make it look easy."

Yeah the little spy tactics and info nuggets are fun and they work. They have a former CIA field agent as an advisor on the show. Thanks to this show I now know how to:

-Defeat an armored and barred door using just duct tape and a small handsaw
-Melt through the hood, engine block, and the road underneath of a car
-Escape from almost any vehicle
-Armor a car using phonebooks
-To make someone tell me what I need to know without physical harm , and do it in short order.
-Get past eletronic locks and keypads (suprisingly easy as it turns out)
-Defeat motion and heat sensing cameras/alarms
-Observation techniques
-Boobytrap a gun
-Assorted chemical compounds that when mixed together go BOOM (liquid dish soap, who knew?)
-Bathrooms are a good place to fight someone (lots of hard, unyielding surfaces)
-Make a cheap listening device/bug
-Hotwire a car
-Crack fingerprint safes (silly putty)

After looking through that list, maybe this show is a bad influence :)

Apparently us two are the only fans here Vlad. *sad face*

Watched an online episode (where the team rescues a kidnapped boy, and the female detective tries to find the hero's C4) after reading this thread.

I was pleasantly surprised: pretty-good storyline. I liked the 1st-person narrative. And the online site has some cute features, too: a hunt-the-object game, and an "ask the spy" advice column-video response.

Altogether: nicely-done.
