MTW2 Kingdoms faulty discs

First, apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place but I don't have full membership yet.
I'm experiencing a peculiar problem. I've bought two copies of the MTW2 Kingdoms disc now, from different suppliers, and both have had the same problem: The game expansion, apparently, isn't on them! They contain 4 folders with long, random/system generated names. Three of these each contain a copy of Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool, the fourth contains a text file that is mostly gibberish. This adds up to 1.32Mb of data. There is nothing else on the disc. I'm as sure as I can be that there is nothing else there that I'm missing.
Is this a production fault? If so, it must be widespread for me to encounter it twice from different suppliers. Or am I overlooking something?

poor guy... I assume you didn't buy an illegal DVDs, so you can take them back to their distributor and demand a change with the working ones...

but if it was illegal, just fine, you didn't lucky this time ...

No, both discs were bought via amazon.co.uk. The second one has gone back to the supplier for a refund today. My quandry now is how to get hold of a functioning copy of Kingdoms. The problem must be a production fault, and if it's so widespread I can run into it twice like this, it makes me wonder what my chances of getting hold of a functioning disc actually are! Maybe I should just buy a copy of the Gold edition of MTW2. I'm keen to try some of the mods I've read about here and, of course, I need a full installation of the game for that.

ya the same problem i faced when i bought my tutorial from amazon. these were few CDs for <a href="http://www.certkiller.com">it training</a>. but i had to return them all.

Do you have any other computers to try the disc on? Just to make sure there's not something going on with your dvd drive. You gotta have more computers or have friends you can test it on. Don't even need to install it, just check the files.

You might want to buy it instore somewhere. That way you can return it the same day.
