There is a certain thread in the Spartan: Total Warrior. When I log in, I can not read it "instagibbed". But when either I log out/quote it, I have no problems with reading this annoying thing.

Let this thread be a spam report since there has been some recent cases of spam.

There are a few ways to se the message, but yeah, spambots are always around. Report 'em if you see 'em.

It would be nice to have perhaps a dedicated spam forum, locked to the public of course but where moderators can move these threads into. Kind of like a spam graveyard.

there is at least one - Assistant Moderators have 'the Bin'

the problem is some of the forums are only covered by Tosa / moderators who aren't around at present, and Tosa is obviously spending a lot of time trying to fix the recent problems with the forum so spam binning isn't necessarily the top priority. I suspect (on the grounds that we're getting a lot more spam than before the site broke), that the anti-spambot catching mechanism was one of the things that's currently missing - and hopefully being fixed....

This is correct. We're gibbing them as fast as we can, but we can't clean up all the forums at the moment for the above reason. Eventually all this will get cleaned up and the gib posts/threads will be removed so that they don't clutter the place up.
