To give money to yourself. The internal names are different, so you don't really want to mess around with that.

Try both with the " " and with out them.

It's the maximum amount that can be given at once.

I used this command to try and give Baktria or pontus or pretty much any shitty little country a chance (even makedonia) who always dies in my games. I checked through the EB files and got all the correct internal faction names written down BUT...... i can add anything from a few thousand up to hundreds of thousands in one turn but if I check the 'faction rankings' graph it will show them as having no money. There is no spike, even if I check back several turns later.

And the faction with al this supposed money does nothing at all and dies same as normal. Does this actually work in game? Can anyone confirm?

True, and when I have edited the script to give baktria 40000 x3times every turn in the script it showed up on the chart as a MASSIVE spike. They had something like 49 million before they were killed off in about year 255. But if I do it manually by hand every turn through the console nothing will come up on that chart.

So still don't know where these millions are going...

wow non of you like micro managing your campaigns ? I made carthage a beast, seleukd a gray death, ptolemaio a yellow plague, baktria an indian spice, pahlava an backthought (beaten to hell by sauromate, seleukid, baktria. Pontus and hayasdan are holding their own while the black death (oh yes BLACK, macedonian!!!!!!) have conquered all of greece and allies with epeiros who conquered all the way to my roman borders and are attacking mediolanum.... fighting a 4 front war (northeast italy, sicily, iberia, massalia) is sure interseting :D

anyways how i did that was basically gave money to myself and bribed as much diplomats as possible and sent them to the nation i want them to be at (i have a diplomat at every nations capital) and every now and then ill cheat money for myself and give them to the nation that need them the most, and or buy cities from the nations that took it from the other said country and give it back along with money. Any leftovers ill take away via -$$ cheat. This way... im fighting a huge war and i like those balanced armies!!! :D

then go with the diplomat and give then monney, as a gift!!! why the cheats i dont understand.

I do not give via cheat instead I via diplomats thanks to silk road and my last adaptation (that I gave governors tax bonuses) I swim in money after my domination from India to Greek mainland.
